This is as authentic of a Mexican restaurant you can get in the downriver area. I always enjoy my time here! You can't go wrong with their tacos, but decided to switch it up one time and try one of their charro dinners. It's very delicious and highly recommend!

We visit my husband's family often here in Detroit area and we've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant for years. We currently live in Texas so we eat Mexican food often but my husband, being from Michigan, often longs for Mexican food from Michigan. We finally found a restaurant that has amazing Mexican food that my husband remembers eating while growing up. From service to food, everything was fantastic. Mayra was our waitress and she was really friendly and attentive. Another lady who wasn't even our waitress (perhaps the manager) was also friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty and their lunch special prices were extremely affordable.We will be back for sure!

They make great Caldos! I had Pozole today. Fantastic! A wonderful, rich flavorful broth with tender pieces of pork and hominy, with a side of diced onions and cabbage to add to the soup. A squeeze of lime and a few dashes of roasted, ground chili d'arbol for the home run! Highly recommend.

Es un restaurante nuevo en Lincoln Park. I've passed by it plenty of times before. But since my friend wanted to go out for dindin with me and the hubby. I went on ahead and told them we should check this new place out.Let's jump in shall we.Guac: My friend is always about the guac, and the ones served here is definitely one of the best guacamole I've ever had. My only critique is that the large portion is a little on the meager side.Queso Birria: Yes,, it's those instagrammable/tiktokable viral dippy tacos. The ones I got here are absolutely sensational. The consomé is also seasoned pretty well. I'm definitely very glad that I can avail these scrumptious babies at striking distance.I like the place. You definitely feel like you're about to smash on some authentic Mexican food when you walk in here. Service was also on point. Everybody was extremely nice and super. Our server was organically delighted to take care of our every need. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who's wanting Comida Mexicana Authentica. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night, and was pretty crowded! The ambiance has a traditional Mexican flair. The service was excellent. The torta de pastor was flavorful with a light spice. The bread was crisp, and the meat was tangy. The carnitas plate was alright; the carnitas were rather dry, rice was mediocre, but beans were delicious. Overall star was the pico de gallo salsa that came with the provided chips. Overall I would eat here again, especially for this inexpensive price!
