This is a real hidden gem! If you are looking for daily homestyle fresh Pakistani food of the highest quality in this area then this is the ONLY place you need to go! It's well worth the drive too! We were staying at a hotel in Ypsilanti and after careful research I found this place in Canton. They have a simple straight forward menu but they can make anything for catering and the like. This is a quaint little mom and pop place that's serving up the best Lahori desi food we've had in a long time! The sesame naan tasted like roghni nana with real ghee on the top and brought back my fond memories of having it in Lahore long ago. This was the closet to Lahore roghni naan we've had ever in over 25 years!! They was so good we ordered 20 to take back home with us as you're not going to find this flavor and quality anywhere in US! The tandoori chicken was melt in your mouth magnificent as they make their own spice blend that I won't forget! The goat biryani and chicken karahi was so good that we couldn't stop eating even though we were full. The goat was plentiful, tender and flavorful. The owners Ali & Aisha are very welcoming and you almost feel like you're at your Auntie's or at home. They make everything themselves. Very generous portions of everything at a really good price! The chutney was a nice accompaniment to the entrees as well. When was the last time you had a true authentic samosa with jovaan (carom seed) in the crust?!! Nothing was a bit oily but packed with unique and familiar flavors. Aisha just made a fresh batch of rus malai desert and it was like biting into puffy light delicious pillows. I sure wish they had their place in my state. This place is one for my record books of "Best Pakistani food places in the USA"! Small place but mighty Desi Daag! I took a bait to try this restaurant as my regular Indian spots were closed. Placed an order though GrubHub app. Order was ready for pick up after 45 minutes. It's a small spot with limited booths.Ordered Tandoori Chicken, it comes with Naan or Rice as side. Expected it to be in the curry consistency seeing the sides but it was dry. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the Naan that came along tasted fresh. Decent packaging, I had mentioned to include cutlery when placing the order but they did not include them. The cashier or the owner sounded so rude. The price didn't match the portions. Customer service can be better.

Great food, best chapli kabab and naan. Very delicious mango lassi Biriyani is really good, like mothers cooking .

If it was possible I would rate this restaurant 0 star. The old lady is too rude. She just knows how to be rude to customers saying "You should NOT order more than one time, otherwise I won't give you what you order". Pathetic service.

The food is REALLY tasty. The service is exceptional. I highly recommend if you're looking for good North Indian food.

I'll be quick and to the point. Pros: -Relatively cheaper than other places-Portion sizes are good Cons: -Food is average at best-Gave wrong item on multiple occasions. I've ordered a zinger burger 3 times and have yet to taste one from here. I tried to give this place a second chance multiple times because I wanted to support a local businesses. Every time I end my meal with feeling underwhelmed with a tinge of regret.

Ordered a phone-in carry-out recently. I wanted to order Tandoori Kabbas (beef), but they were out. They offered to give me a mix of chicken and lamb to try those instead. Both were very good, especially with the sauce they came with (cilantro yogurt/cream or something of the sort?)The lamb masala was the highlight of the meal. Moderately spicy, incredibly tender and flavorful, it was complemented by some of the most fantastic naan I've ever had. I wished I ordered a bit more of the naan.I got mild chicken tikka biryani for the kids. I thought it was rather bland - the rice was tender and cooked perfectly, but the dish lacked flavor. It wasn't just not spicy - it was just mostly lightly colored rice with a bit of chicken in it.I wanted Gulab Jamun for dessert, but they didn't have any. I ordered kheer ("rice pudding") instead. It was good for me - not too sweet - but my kids wouldn't eat it.COVID Summary: Google and other sites say this place isn't open for dine-in, but there were two large tables dining in when I went to pick up my food. Everyone working was wearing a mask, although one person was "cheating" and it wasn't covering the nose. :)Overall, I'll change my ordering strategy and definitely try again. Great little restaurant and incredibly convenient and close to my house.

This place is very up and down, the food honestly is pretty good so in a pinch I'd recommend it, But there are other restaurants with the same type of food close by that are better. The service is absolutely terrible the restaurant itself is disgusting and orders take for ever... but once you get your food it isn't bad. So try at your own risk.

Not sure where to start about this place. Weird smell as soon as we entered, the tables where sticky.We ordered channa masala - which tasted stale, we havent even dared to eat the second bite.The haleem here tasted like daal in chicken.The goat curry was oily. The worst part is the raita (yogurt dressing) that they gave with biryani had a foul smell. Worst experience ever!Would never recommened this place.

1. Run away from this place as fast as you can .... especially if you expect to be treated nicely ....2. Poor customer service and one of the worst communications I have experienced anywhere in the world.... not only on the phone but also in person ... the reason being that the owner-run duo of the husband and wife were never trained as professional service or restaurant expert..3. Food is below average ....especially if you compare vs the authentic taste, freshness and pricing . Also falling short of hygiene standards .... especially if you get a peak into the kitchen4. The decor is more of take-away establishment with visible storage of groceries in dining area5. Once while having dinner, I heard the owner-operstors openly cursing customers after they spoke to them the over the phone
