Tally Ho Bar & Grill

Needed a spot to take dad on a Saturday night that wouldn't have stairs (he has some mobility issues). We drove up to the "Ho" been here a number of times over the past twenty years and have had usually good experiences. Last night was no exception, always a good crowd of people who are kind, good service and good food. It's a nice little bar restaurant in the area. We had the cod, perch, and shrimp- with garlic mashed potatoes and a side salad. It was a good little meal- not gourmet but just good comfort food. Love the Ho - forgot to take food pictures!

This place is horrible. Never go here! Ever! Ok hopefully that scares away the big crowds and keeps this place just how it is... the atmosphere is bussin, busy and comfortable all at the same time. Booths, tables and bar spots. The service was friendly. The food was delicious. Perfectly simple and really tasty. I had the black and blue burger. Cooked perfectly rare. The wife had frog legs. They were meaty and very clean tasting. The breading was so good I can't wait to try the fish or anything else fried. Crisp golden brown and not greasy. Can't wait to go back and try some more.

Sounds like the owner would rather someone drive drunk, than to let them park their car over night. Owner had a car towed for someone that made the choice to not drive. But had she drove & injured someone the owner could have been sued for over serving. Certainly, not the establishment I would recommend.

I play in a local band we were booked into this place last night. I didn't know what to expect, although I knew it's not a large room and they serve food and drinks...but I didn't know how GREAT the people are there! From the owner to the bussers, everyone was friendly and helpful, the menu is varied and offers something for most everyone, they have local and global beers on tap and you're bound to find something to love.Speaking of affections, the crowd at the 'Ho' are mostly locals but they're dedicated to making everyone into their circle. They're outgoing and interesting and make for lively dinner companions...so let's get to the meal. I didn't have a big appetite so I ordered the chicken strips with a side of potato wedges and accompanied by an Alaskan Amber on tap. Friday is fish N chips night but I'm not a fish fan. The basket was full of chicken strips and fries and I was VERY happy! You will be, too.

Service was okay. Food was okay. If I was stopping in for a beer and a burger I probably would have been happier, but as a sit down for dinner with family not the greatest. Went in on a Friday night with a table of six. We were sat right away. Not really kid friendly. Our server forgot a few things even after asking twice. Food was nothing special. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap sub grilled chicken for deep fried and there was no buffalo sauce on it, which was a disappointment. My dad ordered the fish tacos, he said they were the best fish tacos he has ever had. So I guess there are some things on the menu that are better than others. Over al experience was -meh.

I feel that this bar has kind of gone down throughout the years .. for Valentine's Day got a table for two when the waitress took our order before the the other people thy got there food first then they got our tickets screwed up in the kitchen ... the deep fried mushrooms tasted as if they had freezer burn or they were cooked an old oil..

A neighborhood bar and grill and everyone makes you feel at home. Good service and tasty food at a great price. The Cod and shrimp basket was a winner! The iced mugs of beer were a definite bonus.

Staff was friendly, prices are reasonable, chili was amazing. Food was good! I got a burger, it was huge and juicy with all the needed topings. Our friend and my husband got the taco Tuesday special, very affordable. This was our first visit back after many years, we were impressed and will be back soon!

My family and I were there for the first time a few weeks back. I thought of commenting then but didn't. Now that I see a Help Wanted post on their Facebook page I feel I have to. We watched a wonderful waitress get treated very poorly by the owner. I have waitressed myself and also been an owner/manager. It was not only humiliating but a huge turn-off as a customer. It was so noticeable the table next to us mentioned it to us as well.We will not be back and have no doubt why you need help.UPDATE: I left this comment on the Facebook page & the owner just deleted it, instead of addressing jt. No wonder they need employees!

Great perch dinner in a shot and beer setting. Had an oldies/country 3 piece band on Friday night. That along with the background noise made it a little tough to talk, bu I would recommend
