Stopped in for an early lunch. I am giving them 5/5 as the food quality to price ratio is very high. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic then go to someplace that is much more expensive. $5.99 for a lunch buffet!!! Food was fresh and nothing was overly spicy. Again, not a fancy place but if you are looking for quick Chinese - then give this place a try. I will be back.

I grew up around this area and I've been going to this place for a while, I just ordered it for the first time in a couple years and was really looking forward to some good lo mein. I was extremely let down, the noodles were mushy and there was no flavor. Fried rice and hot and sour soup were great. I don't get meat so I can't give a rating for that. The man that works there is extremely nice.

Everything you could ask for AND MORE from a Chinese-American style quick service restaurant. The people are always friendly and glad to have you in. The food is tasty, predictable (in a good way), and quality ingredients for the price. Speaking of price, it's very affordable - I ate here about once every 1-2 weeks over the summer.

Love it! I've only been to this place twice due to the annoying traffic on Square Lake Road but the two times I have been there I've been very pleased. The tables we're full, price is very cheap, Buffet option is an awesome idea, tasty food and the older gentleman that works the counter is very friendly. Inside jokes with customers, running around taking care of everything, he always makes me smile. I usually try a place 3 times before I decide it's my new go-to but this place is promising. I feel like this place and the Golden Crown should switch because Takee Outee needs more seating and Golden Crown is ass.

We felt like Chinese takeout. I grew up near New York City and my Dad owned a factory close to Chinatown. So we ate Chinese food often. And back in the day, Chinese food meant Cantonese which is mostly like what they have on the menu at this place. So I looked on Yelp. When I saw the mostly positive Yelp reviews, I thought we would like it in spite of the corny name. But alas, we ordered about $ 35.00 worth of takeout and it ranged from bad to worse. Here is what we ordered:1 Qt. sized Wonton Soup2 Egg rolls1 large Kung Pao Chicken (Marked in red on the menu to indicate spicy)1 large Scallops with Garlic Sauce (Also marked in red)1 Singapore Noodles (Also marked in Red, not sure why)The Wonton soup was a meh. Unlike some other Chinese restaurants that serve Wonton Soup with pieces of roast pork and some vegetables in the broth, this was just some wontons floating in weak chicken broth. The wontons themselves had scant ground pork in the middle, but the soup was a waste of time and money. The egg rolls were a lot like the egg rolls that you can buy at Kroger and the stuff inside was mediocre. They were not at all moist and the wrappers had a cardboard box texture. The Kung Pao Chicken was not all that terrible, but it was anything but spicy. It was kind of sweet. We dosed it with hot sauce, but it was still pretty sweet. It had very little chicken. The scallops with garlic sauce was also pretty sweet and certainly nothing to write home about. The Singapore noodles were very disappointing. The key attribute of Singapore noodles is that the noodles should have a curry flavor. This rendition had no curry taste whatsoever. The fortune cookies they put in the takeout box were fine...While I was waiting for the food to be prepared, I noticed that they serve a weekday lunch buffet for only $ 5.95. I looked at the food labels on the long buffet and it looked like it could be a good value. However, if that food is as bad as the stuff we ordered, it might as well be free.I don't know why others like this place so much. I more agree with Paul F. This is toxic waste.I guess I need to find another Chinese take out place.

Eat here 2-3 times a week. Food is good and service friendly. Lunch buffet is small but great food. You can't go wrong. Better than eating at The Golden Arches(McD) and it is faster.

"It's rotting in my garbage can right now and that might improve the taste!"...This best describes how I feel about wasting $8.50 on Sweet and Sour Chicken -- something I honestly didn't think you could mess up / make bad (guess I was wrong). The fried rice was awful and had some bizarre after-taste to it unlike any other fried rice I have ever had before. The egg roll tasted like cardboard rolled up and to be honest cardboard most likely tastes better. Do not go here unless you like eating toxic waste...

Fresh, crisp veggies. Tasty meats. Excellent preparation. Friendly service and quality ownership. Not too Americanized cuisine and excellent value. For a Chinese takeaway restaurant, you won't do much better than this. The Mongolian Chicken and Singapore Chow Mei Fun are among the best I have ever had. I must also mention that the price to quality ratio cannot be beat. They offer a lunch buffet that I have never tried....but I must say that this is not really a place I would go to sit down.

Where do I start with place. First off, they somehow forgot to included one of my items I ordered (shrimp fried rice) and went on to deny that I had placed that order(see screenshot below). The lady on the phone continued to argue with me about my order and did not resolve any issues. My office ordered over $120 worth of food, you'd think since were around the corner from the restaurant they'd at least be nice and drop off our missing items, spoiler alert, they weren't. Do NOT recommend
