This Chicken Teriyaki was $16.95... they must be joking. I just paid close to $80 for meals here and I'll never go back again.

Been going here since 2003, always the best food and service. Would recommend the eggplant appetizer, absolutely to die for! My go to for entrees is the udon. Everyone is so kind. Favorite restaurant of all time!

I love this place! Have been going here since I was little- now both me and my boyfriend have made it a regular date night spot! The ambiance is cozy, and the servers are very sweet! The food is quite tasty and high quality- you can't get the same quality very much throughout Metro Detroit.. love love love it here! I truly believe that if it were sanitary to kiss food- they would. It's very obvious they are passionate for what they do.Also the barley tea is very good

Very small, family owned sushi location in Rochester Hills. The menu was great, it has all the classics and the prices were fair. We had a great sushi and sashimi platter for two ans our son had a salmon and California roll. All of the fish was fresh and tasted great. The Godzilla roll we ordered had very generous portions, and the rest of our meal was excellent. They do have beer and soft drinks, but not mixed drinks. It's a small place, so it's ideal for a family dinner or a date, less so for a huge party. We will definitely come here again, and it seems like a lot of locals do as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with Take Sushi.Prices are pretty good. I love that they had scallops, it's like eating a cloud. The fried tofu was good, they use silken tofu, I prefer extra firm tofu. They use white miso for soup, I'm used to the yellow and red which have a stronger flavor. Even though I'm used different flavors, I really enjoyed my lunch. They have a lovely delicate balance throughout the menu. There was even a few Korean items on the menu.

Looks like a hole in the wall outside but so cute and friendly on the inside! We tried the spicy salmon crunch (very good, but needs more crunch), yellowtail roll (very tasty and fresh), scallop roll with an interesting green masago, and a rainbow roll which was very tasty but the pieces in this one need to be cut smaller, the size made it a little hard to eat. The employees are all very nice and helpful. I would definitely return if I'm in the area

I remember when a friend invited me years ago to Ta-Ke Sushi (yes I thought it was literally 'Take' at first) and I was reminded of being in China because they give you a warm wet towel to freshen up. Sadly in post-Covid times, that is no more. However the food is still pretty good. It started ok though with Miso soup that was too salty and salad that tastes good but a little wet at the end.But everything changed when I got my main - bibimbap. It came out looking perfect. The fried egg has crispy edges and I really like the assortment of veggies (spinach, cucumber, radish, carrot) making it healthier. Dish comes out sizzling in a stone bowl so remember to stir stir stir so the bottom doesn't get too burnt. I put some of the sauce which is sweet, tangy, and spicy (gochujang aka fermented red chili paste based) in the bowl to mix but then I realized the better way is to just put a few dabs on each bite to taste which will minimize the error of mixing too much or little sauce. Overall solid place for Korean-Japanese fusion!

Ordered the King crab roll, spicy chicken roll less masago, spicy California roll less masago, salmon tempura roll and chicken bibimbap. I do prefer Korean owned sushi spots, you can get some yummy Japanese cuisines as well as some yummy Korean staples too. ;)$50.72 is the total. The food would take about 15 minutes. We aren famished after our first pick fail. The pickup and pay was quick and easy. You pay at the door. Table is setup in the front doorway. The rolls were all super fresh and quite tasty. The salmon tempura and the king crab rolls were quite big, could barely fit them in my pie hole and no way to eat and talk at the same time. :) The spicy chicken and the spicy California rolls were tasty. The chicken bibimbap was good, would have liked a bit more veggies than zucchini, tad bit of spinach, onions and carrots. I like mine with the burdock and bean sprouts too. The egg was perfectly well fried. We would definitely come back for their rolls, they excel at the sushi for sure. They gave us a complementary salad and soups too. The house salad dressing is more on the sweet and less gingery side of things.

My husband & I were both disappointed in the food, it is no longer authentic Japanese, it is Korean. We have been coming here sine they opened several yrs ago, have been there in a while. The California roll was terrible, couldn't taste the fake crab & the outside rice layer did not have salmon roe or sesame seed it was plain rice. The shrimp tempura & agadashi tofu did not come with grated daikon & ginger, when I asked for some they said they don't have any daikon or ginger. I told them it should come with both dishes, she said sorry.
