I haven't had Indian food in FOREVER and wanted butter chicken with samosas. The food was 10/10, authentic and made to order. The food was truly unbelievable, it brought back so many memories when I was a kid eating this with my sisters. We did take out, but the service was incredible. They're so friendly!

Actually did a U-turn on busy Ford Road, was really hangry and da wife Love some Butter Chicken. Outstanding find they been open 11 year's and it's Halal. That Butter Chicken absolutely Wonderful in a thicker sauce than most places. I had the classic Tandoori Chicken be marinated in yogurt and spices, then baked in a cylindrical, clay tandoori oven. Spot on mega portion 8 pcs and Rice with a basket filled with Naan. A super kinda Soup named Chicken Mulligatawny SoupSlip your spoon into this curry-scented chicken mulligatawny soup and prepare for a taste explosion. Great service from a young guy on top of his game. They used to have a daily buffet, Covid ended that, hopefully one day. Tried food for the first time today and have to say it was delicious !! Butter chicken with rice, Samosas, regular naan and garlic naan ! I love spice but it doesn't love me so I ordered the butter chicken mild plus and it was perfect ! (Mild is zero spice the woman taking the order told me) . The bread was so warm and fluffy and big !! The samosas were GOOD just not great for me because they were spicy but my husband liked them (spice doesn't bother him) ! The brown and green sauce that come with them were both very good ! Customer service was awesome too ! We will definitely order from here again and often !! A+

We used to eat at this restaurant while we were in nursing school a lot. We moved, and then moved back to the area so we decided to try it again after inching back out into the world since the pandemic hit. We ordered carry out today - Butter Chicken, Lamb Biryani, and 2 orders of Garlic Naan.Wowza....the food was delicious!1. The butter chicken was PURE HEAVEN and we devoured it fighting for who would get the last bites. We truly wished we placed two orders of this so we had lunch for tomorrow! Hands down an A+++ rating!2. Lamb Biryani had nice size chunks of super tender lamb! We both are more savory profile people, so the flavor profile was a little sweet, but still a 10/10 (A rating).3. Garlic Naan was the perfect amount of garlic to complement both meals. One order per person was perfect!Thanks so much for a great meal and Taj Cuisine will be on our rotation for carry out until we feel comfortable eating out regularly. On a side note, the carry out person was very nice and the establishment was spotless and smelled extremely clean!

Driving past the place you wouldn't think much of the place especially since the lot appears pretty scarce. To the naked eye probably make you second guess the place and you would just keep driving on... DO NOT DRIVE AWAY!!! Compared to most Indian Cuisine restaurants in Michigan this one is one of my favorites. Starting off with some nice warm and crispy samaosas is always a solid move. Fried to perfection, not greasy in any way and the vegetables inside are warm and delicious. Dip it with the green sauce for a little zing and your already off to a great start to a good evening! To my Spicy food lovers anything Vindaloo is the dish for you and the Lamb Vindaloo will change your life. Definitely makes the aftermath worth it if you're picking up what I'm throwing down. The spices are just right, the meat is tender and juicy, and the rice along side with it, you couldn't ask for a better meal. Of course whats Indian food without some delicious garlic naan on the side. Make sure to do yourself a solid and grab yourself and order or two. With the amount of food you get remember sharing is caring! If you are looking for a new place to try or are just wondering about restaurants in the area go to Taj! Quiet, friendly staff, Perfect spot for a date night or an evening with the family. Prime example of never judge a book by its cover! Hope you eat and enjoy the food as much as I did! Nice quiet place to sit back and enjoy a nice meal.

This place used to be my goto place for biriyani when it was called "Tawa". Now with the name change, the chef changed and the food changed and it's not authentic. They do have lunch buffet. Decent options better than other places but lacking vegetarian options. So we end up ordering from the menu. I ordered different items each.. they are not prepared well at all. Veg biriyani- please frozen vegetables with corn in a biriyani?? Really?? It was sweet to taste and horrible. Nan and gobi curry- Nan was good, cooked perfectly. But the curry was again super sweet and buttery. The staff is friendly until you complain about the food. Nah!! I will not return here.

We had take out from here yesterday. Samosas's, and paneer (both really good!). We also had Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka. Hands down, the best that we've eaten in awhile. Highly recommend their flatbreads, too!

First time I went and ate inside food was amazing. Yesterday we ordered three butter chickens to go and it was just horrible. No flavor. Tasted very bad. I was very disappointed

The food here is amazing and the service is great! We've only gotten carryout but everything is always right, fresh, well packaged and they are so friendly. I'm so glad we found this gem! We got butter chicken, Chana masala, samosas and naan this time. Yum!

Had the Lamb Regan Josh and it was the most lean and tender lamb I have had from an Indian restaurant in quite some time. The cardamom sauce was bursting with flavor. Service was prompt and friendly! I would highly recommend.
