Taboon of Flint

While I have never been in the restaurant I have had their food catered for several different events. It is always tasty and the shish ka bob is yummy and filling! It does not disappoint.

Great food. I had the appetizer platter and it was all very good. Our server was friendly and very helpful. The fresh hot bread and toom were out of this world. Grape leaves just like i remembered growing up. Came from 4 states away and hopefully coming back to eat here again.

Wow-wow-wow! I'm in heaven. Fabulous food and great service. I'm partial to Mediterranean food, but this was really special. Great portion sizes and very tasty. We really had a great server, her name is Julie. I'm shocked that the previous reviews weren't better. Timely service and delightful service. Food is top notch! Enjoy

Food was delicious and freshly baked bread out the oven was to die for! We were seated pretty quickly and the dining area was clean n well decorated.Our server unfortunately on the other hand we found to be a little disturbing to us that she kept going outside to light a cigarette and sit in the car visiting with someone she knew and when I tell you it was more than six times I'm not even exaggerating!Normally it would not bother us but when we didn't have silverware and no napkins and no refills till it was time to go I think that experience took away from the whole experience.

This is only about the service this time as I did not get to eat here. To keep it simple, I placed a to-go order for an entree and stated no mushrooms. I went to pick up the order and I was told it was made with mushrooms and asked if that was okay. Of course it was not okay, since I ordered it without. I was told it could be remade and would take less time than the original order. I declined and asked for a refund. I did not want a rush job on my food. Further, one of the servers was using her bare hands to put bread in the oven. Servers touch a lot of things, dirty dishes and napkins, credit cards, cash (possibly) , etc. There is no way they should be handling food without gloves. Not to mention, the inside of this place is trash. I won't be back.

Ok let me start off with this. Walk in the restaurant, party of who knows, 40 or so in large dining area and very noisy. Small kids running around screaming and being disruptive.We sit down to join other couple already there waiting, it was supposed a birthday celebration dinner. Waitress comes over takes drink order, disappears then comes back several minutes later, repeat this for entree ordering as well.The large party clears out, now they move, drag tables around for next party setup...bring in a large DJ speaker and turn on explicit hip hop music very loud that we could not talk. Should of called the place a nightclub. Very disrespectful. Needless to say, food and service was horrible atmosphere and cleanliness was worse..Never going back and suggest you don't either.You've been warned.....-5 stars, and that is being generous.

Food, service, & ambience very good! We've also been to the Granc Blanc Taboon, which is also very good!

Food was great. Love the hummus and garlic prep with the bread. Chicken dish was excellent, all properly cooked and not fatty or loaded with butter. salad was both quality ingredients and presented in a visually desirable format, great job! Will be headed back soon!

Very good food and service. Glad we tried it again. Great bread, soup and hummus. Clean restaurant!
