T & J Coney Island

This is my neighborhood go to for a salad. I love the convenience of a drive-thru for your normal coney island offerings. They have a two-window operation to keep the drive-thru line moving while your food is being prepared.I always request my chicken on the side for their Famous Grilled Chicken Salad. The portions are large allowing me to keep half for a meal the next day. This is a really tasty salad.One visit before, I mistakenly dropped my credit card outside my car. Once I realized what I had done, I called and the staff had my card waiting for me to pick it up. Although they have seating for dining in, the employees are behind glass and they spin your food out to you. No wait staff in the dining room.This location has late hours of operation and for that reason you will normally see a crowd here at night.

Very nice service tonight! We needed some good comfort food after voting! Drive through was great! Food was hot and fresh!

I can't come back home without stopping by Coney!! This is my late night coney spot I like to hit up. It's changed since the last time I've been there but the food is still good! You ask what to order.... I had the chili dog with mustard onions and cheese, then the chili fries. Although some may complain that it's slow but they are cooking your food on the spot. They serve a lot more than coney dogs, Greek salad is always a good choice, wings, Philly steak, nachos and so much more. I do advise to have cash when paying, there is a service charge for using your debit card.

I've been here too many times to count over the years. I appreciate T & J because of the customer service. I've personally never had any issues with a order or experienced someone with a negative attitude.

No masks at all, no gloves, hair in food, cold food, dirt everywhere. Don't go there!!

I went to T & J Coney island today. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED by what charged me for. I paid $15 for a coney and a Famous Grilled Salad. I usually have no problems when I buy from here but I'd never bought a salad until today. It was atrocious looking. I can't even get into it. I'm going to have to only eat the chicken and salvage thru the salad to find lettuce that's not brown and eggs that are not grotesque and green. I love eggs and wouldn't have had such a problem but the slimy brown edges on the salad is just nasty. How you can you serve that SEEING it when you chop the lettuce or grab it from a bag or where you source your lettuce from. It was horrible. I'm scared to eat anything else if the lettuce is slimy.When I called and calmly explained the situation, the young lady on the phone was immediately annoyed and wouldn't answer the questions I was asking, instead just kept telling me I could come back and get a refund. It's sad that the only exchange (she thought) was about money. No, it's the principal of you selling food that's not fresh and there's no kind response in reference to the garbage you put in in a clear container and wrapped it up and served it like it was fresh. She finally puts the cook on the phone to answer my question. What's the question you ask? Glad you asked. It was simply was the salad premade and served later? She felt offended by me asking as opposed to "hearing" what I was asking. He later responded, yes, the morning staff made the salads and they didn't have a way of knowing. I understand that, still unacceptable, but I get it. I won't be back unless the owner reaches out to me and helps me at least get some kind of understanding because as I stated previously, I'd never had a problem as long as I've been going. I love this place but my 20$ omelette was terrible. The omelette wasn't done n the hash browns were burnt. I ordered breakfast B4, treated my daughter. Spent almost 50$, the booths were clean the food excellent, don't no what happened this time but I'm getting my money back.

Just went to the 7 Mile location. RUN, the other way. This location has been doing upgrades for a bit now. They have changed the way that they make the grilled chicken salad, it is done with all romaine lettuce which is now nasty and dry. They no longer have the 8-piece wing ding dinner; they now have a 9 piece and up which starts at $13.99. This change has just happened because we were here last week. Not only do the price hike and a new way of preparing the food. They are now asking you are you paying cash or card, you say card, they do not mention to you at the speaker that there is a 4% additional charge to your order, which they still have yet to tell you about the charge. When you look at your receipt that is when I noticed the extra fee after I paid. I do not know what is going on with this place, but I am done. I will NOT pay to use my card. That is the business's fee to pay. Use your discretion when going to this place.

I called here this morning to get a price of a meal and the lady that answered the phone was so ghetto and unprofessional,

PLEASE FIX YALL SPEAKER! it's no reason i told you my order 3 times and still getting to the window and you talking bout you didn't hear xyz...now i'm waiting an additional 10 minutes for something i been ordered from the jump. very very inconveniencing and annoying. FIX THE SPEAKER or clean y'all ears.
