I love this place, I come here all the time. My favorite is the cookie dough extra cookie dough. They should know me by name lol I eat up all the cookie dough lol. But the service is always wonderful, I haven't had a bad experience.

Good experience. The people are really friendly. The ice cream is good, not exceptional. I enjoyed the black Cherry ice cream with large cherries in it. Large menu with lots of choices.We went inside to order the ice cream and it got really crowded and warm inside. Lots of outdoor seating, which was really nice. This place is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking.Cool decor and fun vintage things, like a gum ball machine and horsey that you pay to ride.

Review from 3 years ago Yelp deleted hundreds of my reviews. Always a fun experience in this Thomas the Train decorated ice cream parlor. Won 2 years in a row Best Ice Cream shop Metro Detroit. We got stuck by the dawn train on Allen road, did a quick u turn for a fabulous treat. Mega Superman's Ice Cream cone and a cup filled with scrumptious Coconut Almond Chocolate Chips and topped with Hot Chocolate Syrup OMG can you say fabulous. #sweettreatsstation #icecream #downriverfriendseat

Love this place for our sweets fix! The staff is super friendly and the variety of ice creams and fixings is awesome. The even have some food options so you can get lunch and a dessert.

Sweet Treats has been a family tradition for us for years. They have so many great flavors. Our favorite thing is when they post names and if your name is posted, you get a free soft serve icecream. My son and his cousins live checking to see if their names are on the list. Thank you Sweet Treats for all the great memories. We look forward to many more.

Tried this place a few days ago with my kiddos. Great selection of Hershey ice cream, including Superman, which my kids were all about. Also, they put candy eyes on kiddie cones, which was adorable. Decent selection of other ice cream treats, although the menu scattered all over 2 walls can be confusing and overwhelming. I got the Mexican fried ice cream, which while delicious, was not actual fried ice cream. I guess I should have known, but it's not at all clear that this item is just vanilla ice cream coated in frosted flakes and cinnamon sugar. Finally, the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there's o my one small table for indoor seating. Plenty of outdoor seating, which is what we chose, but as it was almost 90 out, and my kids are small, I don't know that I would go again on an extremely hot day again.

Awesome soft serve! And they should charge just to smell how good it smells inside! Also picked up a small bowl of vanilla had dip - my pup is about to be super happy!

The praline pecan ice cream was fantastic. Perfect ratio of pecans, ice cream and caramel. Will definitely be visiting here again! Local PD was there, so it must be good!

Quite simply the best ice cream shop around! Its decorated super cute with seating inside and out. Dawn and her staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They have large selection of fresh good quality ice cream and lots of other fun candy Treats. 5 stars all around for this local family owned business!
