Sushi Samurai

We arrived during dinner rush and expected a wait, but were sat promptly by a friendly waitress. We were given a menu and water upon sitting down in the little comfy booth.We ordered the Miso Soup to start, the Philadelphia Roll, Samurai Crunch Roll and the Spicy Salmon Roll. The miso soup was hot and delicious, served alongside a complimentary cucumber salad.The rolls were good, but colder than we would've liked. The standout was The Philadelphia Roll, with melt-in-your-mouth salmon happily marrying the cucumber and cream cheese. I prefer fresh salmon rather than smoked salmon in my Philly, so my tastebuds were delighted!Overall a great experience, and will be back for more.

Nestled in a bustling plaza, the first pleasant surprise was the parking assistance. The friendly attendants ensured that the nearby West End restaurant didn't monopolize all the spaces, allowing us to snag a prime spot right outside the door. This small but thoughtful service set the tone for what turned out to be a perfect dining experience.From the moment we walked in, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff were evident. They went above and beyond to accommodate our every request, whether it was extra ginger or substituting rice paper for seaweed in our rolls. The attention to detail and genuine care for the customers were palpable.We started our meal with two rolls, each a masterpiece of fresh, flavorful ingredients. The delicate balance of textures and tastes was a testament to the skill of the sushi chefs. Our two salads were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the richness of the sushi. We also indulged in an appetizer that was simply divine, showcasing the restaurant's ability to elevate even the simplest of dishes.The wine selection was the cherry on top, with each glass perfectly paired to enhance the flavors of our meal. Every bite was a delight, every sip a joy. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were unmistakable, making each dish a standout.As we wrapped up our meal, I knew this wouldn't be my last visit. if you make a reservation they will cancel it or just not write it down so if it's a busy night don't even bother. other than that, it's a great place with really great food.

Truly have never had a bad experience at Sushi Samurai. The service is consistent and the food has never been anything but amazing. It's a staple to anyone who lives in the area for sushi!! Can't recommend enough.

This place is amazing! I have been coming here ever since I remember and it never disappoints. The staff treat you like family. They remodeled a few years back and they are always busy. Sushi is unmatched and I have yet to have any sushi that is better than this! Highly recommend coming here!

Haven't been here in a decade. Decided to come back and try it -- as it was convenient and I felt like sushi. For what it is, it's very good. The service was excellent, the ambiance decent and a menu with a lot of variety. We started with the spicy crab salad and the cucumber salad. Both fresh and tasty. I had the small sushi plate and my husband got the chicken teriyaki. He enjoyed his and was happy that he could upgrade to brown rice. The fish on the nigiri was fresh. The tuna rolls pretty average. But again for a convenient local place, I'm glad to have re-tried it so I now can add in back into my list of restaurants to go in the area.

We recently moved to the area and sushi samurai quickly became our new neighborhood staple / favorite spot!! Every roll we have tried has been delicious and fried rice was amazing, they're usually busy but try to have as quick service as possible

I love this place! Their sushi is always fresh and so so good. To say they are busy is an understatement but they are an amazingly well oiled machine. There's a robust sit-down business but and even stronger carry-out business. It never stops! This is clearly a tribute to the quality of their sushi. I advise ordering online for all carry out. They have a really nice menu and you'll want to take your time ordering. The parking lot is a nightmare so if you're doing take out... I highly advise 2 people pick up. One to drop/drive, the other to run in and get your order. Trust me, it's worth it!
