Great selection of fish. The bluefin tuna is a solid 4/5 but the pieces are in great ratio with the rice! Got the Alaska roll, a bit saucy but great taste and portion. The place is very clean and cozy. Miso soup tastes top tier

Cute neighborhood sushi establishment located in a strip mall. Plenty of parking. It's light and bright inside. Tiny, but cozy and inviting. Sushi bar sits about 7-8 people. Maybe 4 other tables. Service was friendly. Seems like a family run biz. They use a lot of disposable plastic here from cups to condiment soufflé cups. Would love to see less waste here. My party ordered sushi rolls (veggie), miso soup, and a sashimi bowl. They have both cold and hot options for food. Not a ton of vegan options, but some. There is no tofu option for udon bowls that I saw. I didn't question broth ingredients assuming it's not vegan. The sushi rolls and soup I opted for were very good. Two sushi chefs wee creating clever rolls for other diners. They were very friendly. I don't believe they have a liquor license, but there are a few drink options including hot green tea. Prices were reasonable. Solid sushi option nearby!

This place is FANTASTIC! We've gotten carry out a few times here and every time it is consistently good and fresh! The sushi is so good and love their udon! Inside is always clean and the staff is super friendly! We love it and will continue to get carry outs here!

Omg yes i give a lot of 5 stars but this is one of those places that really deserve it. I got the lunch nigiri special and holy....the fish was so fresh and they put a nice amount on the rice, and it was soooo satisfying. I also loved the udon. Wow. Will be going here more often and so should all of u lol

*highly recommend making reservations or coming early for dinner Friday and Saturday*We came here on a Friday night and were luckily able to get a table for 2 right away. The sushi and udon are both amazing in prices and taste. The sushi melted in your mouth and the udon broth was very flavorful. Customer service went above and beyond, they were super busy that night (understandably so) but were very accommodating for the longer wait with our food. The restaurant itself is rather on the smaller side so I think this place would be better if you have smaller parties since it can be a bit tight when they're at capacity. Definitely would recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a more "traditional" Japanese sushi restaurant.

We had an excellent experience in this restaurant. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and absolutely delicious food! I had the salmon bowl, 1/2 of the sweet egg roll, and inari (fried tofu stuffed with rice). I was blown away by how delicious the food was. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Just tried Sushi Neko in Rochester Hills and I regret not finding it sooner! The space is very clean and all the food is incredibly fresh. We started with the edamame, very good but a little too heavily salted, and the miso soup which we enjoyed. We ordered several rolls to share and enjoyed them all. I personally loved the Alaska and firecracker the most. We also ordered the nigiri set and I have to admit we didn't really enjoy this - I was expecting this to be my favorite but the pieces were very thick and it tasted too strong and fishy. I usually prefer lighter pieces of raw fish so I wouldn't reorder this. Would definitely come back to try other rolls and the bowls!
