Sunrise Family Diner

My daughter just came home to visit from San Diego and where was the first place she wanted to go to feel right back at home? Sunrise Diner for breakfast! Sunrise Diner is a low frills restaurant that serves a pretty decent breakfast at a great price! The food is always delicious and the portions are very healthy especially for the price! We all commented on how attentive the staff are, it's one of those places where you will never see the bottom of your coffee cup and is usually filled with regulars. As a matter of fact my daughters fiancé left with the caffeine "jitters" he's not used the Midwest hospitality! It's fills up for breakfast by 9:30 on the weekends for plan to wait a few for a table, and the owner is always there interacting with the guests. Thanks Sunrise for creating such great memories for my daughter!

Not open on a Thursday despite the website. With so few places to eat breakfast in Howell, I would hope that the information provided by the ownership would keep us from driving around to places which are not opened up.

This place is absolutely adorable, and it rarely has a wait. Their food is out quickly and it tastes great. Overall it's a great greasy spoon breakfast!

We revisited our Meat-lovers omelette a couple Saturdays ago. Absolutely the best sourdough toast we've ever had; hot, cheesy, meaty eggs, and crispy hash browns just like we love them. Several refills on the hot fresh coffee - couldn't ask for a better breakfast experience. Super wait staff here.

I love this little place. Have never had bad food or bad service. I like it much better than chain restaurants. I just wish they were open for dinner. :)

Food was delicious and our server was very nice. The restaurant itself could use some updates to decor.

Called to ask if they were hiring I don't know who I spoke to but they were so rude. Said we are fully staffed in a rude tone and hung up on me. The service has always been meh i don't know why I expected it to be different.

We went for breakfast with family Memorial Day weekend. Everyone was very happy with our meals. The cinnamon rolls were big and fluffy. The eggs Benedict were made perfectly with great poached eggs. The corned beef has was so filling, and the breakfast burrito was big enough to share. Great staff service as well.
