We got carry out, a pretty large and varied order for five of us.Stuffed grape leaves & falafel, delish, Majadara was decent, schwarma pita ok, pita bread is the flat kind (not the puffy), Tabbouleh was pretty big pieces of parsley, which we weren't used to. A couple combo plates in carry out containers just all ran next to each other, no dividers at all between the dishes; that was not a plus. We'll stick with Asya, just a couple miles away, or Wow--I think they are both better.

Ordered Schwarma combo. Mid 30s$. Delivered.Overall positive experience. Lamb and chicken were cooked well. They were above a generous portion of rice. It serves 2 to 3 people and indeed it does - meat 2-3 people; rice 3-4. I also got half dinner salad. Food quantity 5/5.Here are the issues. The salad seemed not fresh. Some lettuce was browning. The dressing seemed not fresh. Was dark green/ grey color and didn't smell pleasant. I called, and they said it should be purple color when mixed (e.g. fattoush) but it was certainly not. The garlic sauce was ok, not the best but not bad. It is passable but not better than supermarket. The other sauce, tahini,, did not taste or smell good. Maybe I don't have enough exposure to Mediterranean food, but this sauce was liquid and had a bitter/putrid smell. I even called making sure it was fresh and they said it was. I much prefer hummus though, but dont think worth extra $6. It should be included. Overall could be better if the sauces, all 3 (dressing, garlic, tahini), were better.

I feel like we have been to the previous place here at this location before. What was it before. We ordered a starter flight, large fattoush no pita, small fattoush no pita, chicken shawarma dinner with veggies, bowl of lentil (extra), bowl of crushed lentil. $55.92. The crushed lentil is super thick, it's good, added some lemon to make it better. It's like porridge. The fattoush salad is not bad, a bit more sumac would make it better for me. Nice fresh colorful veggies and lettuce makes the salad appealing to the eyes. Dressing is subtle but good. They have the warm hit pocket bread, thinner pita pockets, which I actually don't mind at all and they are oh so tasty. Any middle eastern restaurant that has pita pockets is alright in my book. The chicken shawarma meat is moist and tender, it's not bad at all. The meat is not off the spit, pan or griddle cooked. Has a bit of flavor too.The hummus is so-so, not as creamy or flavorful as I would like, wasn't for me. My husband thought it was okay and ate it up with shawarma. The baba ghanouj is Smokey and pretty tasty. The tabouli is also quite nice, clean, lemony and so fresh too. Their garlic sauce is addictively good. Service here was good, food is also pretty good. The hummus definitely needs a bit more finesse for me to want it again, that was the only part of the meal that didn't do much for me.

The food was amazing. The flavors pop and fresh quality. The hostess was very pleasant and friendly. She had knowledge of the food and made suggestions based on my questions. I will always visit when I am in Detroit.

I've gotten takeout here at least five times and will keep coming back. This is the nicest service I've ever received for takeout. While the food is a bit more expensive compared to others in the area, it has always been delicious.

We had a great experience here. The server was really sweet and chatted with us about the menu. They serve Lebanese, Yemeni, and Tunisian dishes. I appreciated the variety. The bread and garlic were good. The deboned Chicken was tender and well seasoned. The prices were really fair. Both of us have enough for lunch Monday too

Not impressed.I'll start with the good - the Hummus was delicious. That's the only positive thing I can say.The chicken shawarma was bland and flavorless. The rice tasted like it came out of an Uncle Ben's microwave pouch. The bread was over cooked on the bottom (burnt) and somehow doughy on the top.Service was slow for lunchtime. Not very attractive decor - felt like it's seen better times. I know it's not 5 Star dining - but at least keep the dirty dishes out of view, not piled up in plain sight.Far better Mediterranean restaurants in the area - I won't stop here again.

I'm looking for a new Mediterranean spot and thought to give Stone House at try. Ordered a large carry out Fattoush salad with chicken. The salad was not very crisp and overloaded with onion. Dressing was bland. Portion size was disappointing for the price. I'm still looking....
