Sterling Coney Island

Missed a couple reviews- excellent omelettes -HUGE- and all taste great. Soups are wonderful! Coneys huge & just enough chili on them - the owner,waitress - incredible- great little family place !

This classic diner exudes warmth and nostalgia from the moment you walk through the door. The corned beef here is a standout with perfectly crispy hash browns. The friendly staff and atmosphere is great.

You may not notice this place by driving down Van Dyke or even know about it driving down 16 mile (Metro Parkway). But this is definitely a place you should try and I guarantee you will be back. Whether I had the Coney or the fries, the slim Jim or fish dinner, everything was delicious. This place is owned by a husband and wife running it solely on their own and are super friendly.

We stopped in for breakfast after dropping my truck off at Mr. Muffler. We came in during a Thursday morning so it would relatively quiet with a few seniors hanging out.The place is a small mom and pop joint with tables, booths, and a counter bar to eat at. Son #1 and myself chose to order pancakes (his were chocolate chip), hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage. Everything was spot on. Portions were huge and food was great. The waitress (which I assume was the owner) was personable, attentive, and knew the menu. I tried ordering several different sides with my pancakes and she told me I could get a specific dish that covered all that without spending the extra money as sides. The cost was under $8 per dish for all of us. Very happy and will definitely be stopping in more often.

Clean, good food, great prices. They are a Coney Island though. Their lunch double cheeseburger is fire!

It's fast and convenient but their coneys are only ok far from the best. Sandwiches are decent. Prices are good. Like I said very edible just not the tastiest.

Best Coney Island I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. Try their chicken Greek salad the homemade Greek dressing is amazing. The pita sandwich's never disappoint here. The portions are large so you won't leave hungry and the service is always prompt and on point.

This is an amazing restaurant with GREAT food and service! I love coming here just to enjoy the ambiance!

Everything was great. Definitely recommend. Entrance is a little deceiving because it's perfect inside!
