Consistently good service and great food. I've ordered pizza, pepperoni rolls, deserts,etc. All of it was great. Been going there since the 80's.

Been ordering carry outs from this place for years and never been disappointed or had an issue with the order. Phone orders placed have always been taken by cheerful and pleasant and helpful employees. They give you a pickup time and it usually is within a 10 min longer time, pretty darn consistent I must say. Always cheerfully greeted upon arrival. They put your subs in a pizza box so they are perfect when you get home, none of that paper bag crap! Prices are just amazingly reasonable, and their pizza is also delish. Try this place, you won't be disappointed! Large menu, pizza, cold subs, hot subs, pepperoni rolls, salads and much more! Let's support our local businesses and keep them up and running. Debbie

This was my first time getting food at Sportman's - I got lured in through a facebook post to try their lunch special pepperoni roll. It certainly didn't disappoint.Pepperoni Roll ($5) - This is completely different from the pepperoni rolls in all of the various Italian bakeries in the area. Instead of being super bready, this is basically rolled up pizza dough around a bunch of pizza sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. The areas that are more saucy do leak through the crust a bit, so you can expect a small number of soggy spots. The roll is gigantic - almost 12 inch long. Think of the old Costco chicken bake (prior to 2020, not the nasty frozen pre-made ones that they serve now), but as a pizza instead of chicken, bacon, ranch. Such a great deal at only $5 for lunch every day between 11AM to 3PM. Just don't eat this if you're on a diet! It's super greasy, but delicious.The food does take a bit to come out - I called an order in right when they opened and it took 20 minutes. There were also 3 other people waiting for their food in the lobby when I got there. Expected, when everything is made fresh to order. Sportsman's Pizzeria is definitely a great place to visit!

Good food and great service been getting pizza and pizza rolls for quite awhile. If you have an issue they will gladly work with you and get you what you need done.

Fairly local, we got pizza here many years ago and it was fair at best. I was looking for a white pizza in the area and landed at Sportsman's. We ordered a large New York white and added fresh basil to it and a medium cheese pizza. Both were tasty. I wish the New York white was a bit more done. Maybe next time I'll ask for it well done. It was tasty but under.

I was in Wayndotte for LASER training, and they bought us pizza. But this wasn't regular pizza. This was pizza heaven. They had all sorts. It was so delicious! I normally can only eat one piece but I had to try one of each so I took two pieces home. Haha. Shameful but it was delicious. I wish the pics were better but some of the nurses had already dug in. I absolutely will come back for this pizza. Yummy!

I want to start this review by saying that even though I'm very disappointed by the quality of the items in my order today, I will be ordering from Sportsman's again, but likely not as often or anytime soon. It's been my favorite pizza place to order from since moving to Southgate in August and I order from there almost once a week because I absolutely love the New York white pizza. But if today had been the first day I ordered from there, I never would have ordered from there again. My pizza was very burnt, like almost inedible burnt, yet somehow it was also cold?!? Not really sure how that happened. About half of the fries were burnt on some edges, but also barely cooked & they were also cold, but I was able to eat some of them. The flatbread, while delicious, was only half cooked lol. One half of it was perfectly done and the other half was almost doughy and had no color to it. I paid for extra Italian dressing for my salad, but was not given extra. I also paid for 2 ranch dressings and those were not with my order either. If I had left a review previously, I would have given them 4 stars and if today had been my only experience with them I would have given 1 star. I'm really hoping today was a one off and there was a small snow storm, so I'm chalking it up to them getting a lot of orders, but it was very disappointing. When I placed my order online it said it would be delivered in an hour and it was an hour and a half, which is fine given how busy it seems like they were, but also frustrating because I was really hungry by the time it got here and everything was pretty subpar. Almost every time I've ordered before it's been almost exactly at the time it gives when you order (for delivery I think it's always an hour, and when I ordered for pickup it was like 25 or 30 minutes). I didn't take a picture of the pizza until after I had taken 2 pieces out and I didn't think to take a picture of the flatbread. Honestly, I was just hungry and wanted to eat my food and hadn't planned to write a review. I want to reiterate that I do still recommend Sportsman's and I'll for sure be getting the New York white pizza and the flatbread again, just hoping one is cooked all the way and the other isn't burnt and cold next time. I'll also not be ordering during another winter storm or a day pizza places might be extra busy, like certain holidays. I'm hoping the next few times I order from there it's back to the same quality. Because I've ordered it so much, I knew exactly how the pizza should look and I've also never gotten a cold pizza from there before. I guess my hope from leaving this review is that someone from Sportsman's will see it and make sure they're delivering quality products as they could have easily lost a customer tonight, and like I said, had it been my first time ordering from there, it would have also been my last.

Order large pizza with 3 topping and paud over $25. Took 1.5 hours to arrive. When it did arrive it was cold , dough not cooked all the way and very little cheese, even thought the box says HOT & FRESH. Called the store and was told sorry nothing we can do we are busy. They should have refunded the card I pay with. Will not be returning
