Spicebowl Indian Grill and Eatery

Great location with huge parking lot. The seating area is very nice and can accommodate parties of any size. Ordered the Gobi Manchurian as an appetizer. The breaded cauliflower in Indian spices is highly recommended.For main course ordered the Tandoori Sampler was phenomenal. The chicken and shrimp were particularly very good.

Spice bowl has great customer service and lots of good seating. I chose carry out for my first visit. I ordered mild seasoning. My food was just okay. I wouldn't order onion pakora again. There was too much breading & not enough good flavor. The chicken tikka masala sauce had an unexpected twang. I almost tried their butter chicken. The sauce seemed simpler. They have a parking lot in the back of the plaza.

Ahmed was dear, casual mild space. Depending on the time there may be a bit of a wait bc of doordash orders. The last time my order of naan was not up to par they remade w/o a charge this time, garlic cheese naan was warm & yum. The goat curry was very boney not beef so I'd suggest the lamb, if you get extra veggies get on the side. Chicken biryani was made w/ dark meat, perfer white w/ shrimp, a hotter spice level. The veg samosa was flaky & 2 large pieces, no green sauce only the tamarind. But they thru in a rice pudding as a extra treat. One day I'll have to eat there for the buffet available in the afternoons wkly to try other things. Try when in the area, glad this place is close to home.

We arrived at 11:45 (15 mins into open) on a Monday and the dining room was completely empty. I'm thinking most people aren't up for the spice so early in the day, but the bf and I were ready! The space is clean and the tables were neatly set with large water goblets. You're greeted by a friendly server who was very helpful in explaining the different sauces. The menu is vast, including an Indo-Chinese section and several vegetarian options.We started with mango lasses and soups - mulligatawny for me and corn vegetable for him. I preferred his soup. He ordered naan and the friendly server brought both butter and garlic/cheese, only charging for one, so he could try the cheese variety. They looked good, but I didn't want any. The mixed grill is a lot of meat and a good deal. The goat was very tasty, medium spice (and I like spicy) was just right. My gripe with the goat is that the serving of actual meat was very small. This gave me an excuse to nosh off of the grill plate, which was good. These are hard-working restauranteurs who are eager to serve up some good Indian fare. This space has always been difficult to attract foot traffic. They're worth it. Walk through their door and smell the tandoor(i)!

I've been here a few times for the lunch buffet in the past year. They have a decent variety and the food is good. The restaurant and buffet area are clean. A good option for lunch if you like Indian food.

EAT HERE! everything is amazing, cooked to order, with the best naan I've ever had. Take out is great, but dine in is casually elegant with great service. This is genuine Indian food and the best I've had in metro.My favorite is the vindaloo (bottom). The top dish is lamb briyani. Garlic Chile naan on the left, garlic cheese on the top.

While I enjoyed my Chicken Tikka Masala the service left much to be desired. It was so bad that I didn't leave a tip. I can not remember the last time I didn't tip a server. I'm compassionate, people forget things or sometimes a server is overwhelming busy or a restaurant is under staffed. When I walked into the Spice Bowl the waiter was busy sweeping. I appreciate cleanliness and Spice Bowl was relatively speaking clean. I stood there 3-4 mins waiting to be acknowledged. Okay. I really felt I was inconveniencing the waiter. He was just unpleasant and salty for no reason the entire time. After bringing out my food he disappeared for 10 mins without checking back to see if I needed anything. I did. I need rice. I work hard for my money and eating out is a treat. There are many options out there. Word to the wise, leave your attitude at the door dude your only hurting yourself.

Always good food. Tazul waited on us. Very helpful. My brothers first time having Indian and loved it. Try the Lamb Rogangosh so much Flavor. Super tender. So good.

This is my usual go-to place for Indian food, but this visit to pick up carryout was a miss. The lamb saag had literally 3 pieces of lamb in it, and 2 of the 3 were too chewy to eat. Will try another time and hope it's better.
