Broasted Chicken WOW a Downriver Classic bet you didn't know. So fortunate to have a few great Chicken places around, non tops this one. Great for Superbowl party 2 whole Broasted Chicken that's 16 pc . We have been regular customers since opening this place packin the seniors in who know a great meal on the cheap. Look at the great Meatloaf dinner with Soup or Salad n Bread Basket, too. Quite a few times each year, we get this Chicken Deal you just can't beat. You should call your order in an hour before needed, every order made fresh. Two customers in the restaurant and zero menu online. This should have been a red flag!!This establishment charged $3 for a tiny side of feta (most local is around 80 cents-$1.20) When I informed the owner I didn't want the feta any longer she proceeded to scream in my face telling me how much she pays for it personally at her home.Absolutely terrible customer service. I won't be back!Edit to add.. After I arrived home I discovered that my eggs are cooked WAY over done (ordered over medium the yolks are dry and over cooked.) My fries are so underdone that I put them in the air fryer at home for an additional 10 minutes and they're still under cooked.

Food was ok. Ordered breakfast. Probably wouldn't go there again unless I had too. Was pretty quick. But they up charge for texas toast and only give you 1 slice. Weird as hell. Never seen that before.

Absolutely sickening.. we ordered takeout, I got an omelette and there was a long, dark black hair intertwined throughout my entire omelette. As if this wasn't disgusting enough, we called in to tell what happened and they made me a new omelette(but only after accusing us of making this up and making us bring in the takeout food with said disgusting hair in it to show them for proof), brought the new omelette back home after picking it up. While eating the "new" remake omelette after the one that had hair in it, I began to realize was chomping on eggshells. By then I had already swallowed some of the eggshells. I instantly threw up and was absolutely shocked and disgusted.. Contacted the health department and they are inspecting. Super disappointing and unacceptable. "Linda", "the owner" accused us of lying about this and very rude when I called to inform her about what had happened. Southgate grill is filthy and despicable. This is unacceptable.

I have never been to the actual restaurant but order doordash from here quite frequently. I really enjoy their breakfast items and they use quality breakfast meats (bacon is really good). I have had some sandwiches that were pretty good as well. I feel what stands out for me is that they seem to care about the product they deliver. They always accommodate special requests and send condiments with their orders. This is not the norm for restaurants that participate with doordash. I wish that there was an option to tip the employees of the restaurants on doordash and not just the drivers. I would recommend ordering from them over other coneys. This type of customer service is hard to find in these times.

This is a diner. The food wAs inexpensive and cooked to order - the establishment needs a good cleaning and the waitresses need to stop crabbing and gossiping at the counter. The menu is extensive and I will go back because they charge a fair price for their food. They have a few TVs in here as well.

Everything was delicious even down to the water, lol.... I had nothing but a positive experience. I will definitely come back to try other menu options. I had the southern omelette, it was more than enough food. The home fries were a perfect mixture of fried hard but still soft on some part.. My friend had the flap jacks and Philly steak omelet which he devoured!

Staff are polite & wait on you in a timely manner & w/respect. Food is super- never had a bad meal yet. Prices are great. The Open hours accommodate people when many places close at 3:00.I take family & friends there & they are pleasantly surprised - asking me how I found this place. Went in on a hunch and it was right!
