Southern Smokehouse was . We really enjoyed our dinners! Since it was our first time, we ordered a few additional things from the menu just to taste what else they offered and everything was on point. We will definitely be back when we're in the mood for Soulfood

Greens had too many stems....Oxtails were good Spaghetti was exceptional Banana pudding was O.K but lacked flavorPrices were a bit high but ...?

I'm telling you, this food tastes like it was prepared by the lady with the yellow rain jacket and the umbrella. I have never in my life Had food saltier than this. They were shame in Chinese restaurant on earth. Many years ago I tried this restaurant and I couldn't remember why I never went back and after my $30 purchase today, I understand. The short ribs taste like if you put them on your porch after a blizzard, only the concrete will be showing they are so salty. I got the collard greens and the turnip and mustard greens and I literally rinsed them with water at my house before an ate them because they were that salty. They serve the kind of macaroni and cheese where the cheese has slid off the noodles completely. Even the 7-Up poundcake, tasted salty. I will absolutely never go back here because the food is so salty, it should be sponsored by lisinopril.

The food seems fresh and delectable I'm not vegan so I didn't get to try much but the veggies were really good. The service was top tier I parked in an incorrect parking they nicely told me and let me complete my order anyways so thoughtful . The Lakeview was really clean too will be back

First time trying this restaurant and was pleased with the service. I food was good, wasn't what t was expecting from rib tips. Still good overall. It's takeout only buffet style servers to take your order. I'll try them again for something different. Check them out! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I would have given a t star,but i didn't get any gravy on my dressing it was still good though. Ribs were not tought or to tender but just right for my taste ,and you can taste the smoked flaver cooked in.Havent had them for some years now but they have stepped up since last time.The Ribs are pretty big also compared to what I've been given from other places I visit.

A friend told me to try this place because I was complaining about how the restaurants don't make Mac and cheese the way they use to. Well, I declare not only was the Mac and cheese delicious all of my food was the ox tails, green beans and even the biscuit lol. You have got to try this place "It's Grrrreat" as Tony would say (smiles)This will definitely be my new soul food go place.

Ordered a fried pork chop sandwich. Quantity size good price reasonable taste terrible. I don't know, but usually the taste is good. I've had it before but this time it was terrible. It was so tough that I could not really eat it. I could only eat around the edges of it so I ended up throwing a lot of the meat away and just kind of chomping on the bone, too late to take it back too far to drive not worth it waste of money. I called and complained to the manager. All they had to say was an apology but never one time did they offer to give me a refund?

We went to try something new! And SO GLAD WE DID!! I ordered the smothered pork chop, my wife ordered the meatloaf and my 4 year old got the catfish. Everything came out fast. The food was hot! Everything had flavor. The service was fantastic!!! Each of us got a slice of cake too, the cake was moist and had such great flavor! We could not leave with out bringing home some of their house made ice cream too. I highly recommend going! The yams were divine the black eyed beans were amazing too! You gotta try the Mac and cheese as well!! Yum yum yum!

Yall outta be ashamed of yall self wit these paper thin over cooked pork chops... A family pack of porkchops is $10 nice sized and i paid $16 for 2 thin ones tht were cooked so hard they werent edible Mac n cheese wasnt cooked thru,
