This review is only in regards to a wedding there, although I've been here for a talk before too.One of my friends got married here last night and it was a great time - she was even able to sing a song on the stage. All of the food, waitservice, etc. was top notch as well. The location is pretty easy to find when you enter the lobby of MotorCity Casino, also. The other time I went here was a while ago, when JK Simmons was in town for a talk, and the venue was good for that as well.Overall I'd recommend this venue for weddings, too.

Smaller venue that makes concerts feel like they're just for you!We came here for a Gavin DeGraw concert. Online, it's pretty difficult to figure out what the seating arrangement looks like. So we played it safe and got lower level tickets that looked straight on at the stage. A bit pricier but WORTH IT! Even though there was all the standing room in the pit in front of us, we seemed so close still. What it convenient about this venue especially is the bars and restrooms are very close so you are not walking a long way away from the concert taking place. They really thought this venue through when creating it.It's in the middle of the casino by the food court area. There's plenty of signs so it's easy to find. You can park in multiple locations and they are all about the same distance from where you need to go.

Sound Board is a smaller music venue at MotorCity Casino. I like the intimate setting and the acoustics are great even from the cheap seats. Seats could be more comfortable. Overall, a wonderful addition to downtown's music scene. I was a regular at Blue Note Jazz Club in Honolulu and Sound Board is the closest to that in Detroit.

We went to see Marlon Wayans' standup here, and what a great theater! There really isn't a bad seat in the house, though we were up close, they kind of pack you in there. I think next time, I'd go for one of the tables that go around the top. You'd get much more space and still have a great view. I love that it's small - it gives a perfectly intimate feeling, especially for comedy. Honestly, I'd come back here for almost any kind of show - it was so easy to get in and out, parking was a breeze, and it has a modern upscale vibe to it. A great space!

Went to see Chantè Moore here about a week ago. I love the layout of the concert hall. It feels intimate. The acoustics are incredible. You can hear and see the performance really well. There's a nice bar inside. The parking is not a issue (it's free and plentiful). I would definitely see another concert here.

One of my new favorite venues! What a great, intimate spot to see a show. I saw Damien Escobar. Outstanding! Can't wait to return.

I always enjoy going to the Sound Board at Motor City Casino! I usually frequent the Sound Board for concerts, especially bc it's a smaller and more intimate venue with less people, opposed to being at a larger arena with more people. However, the last few times I've been to the Sound Board was for the Pistons Viewing Party. The tickets were free, and the food (Little Caesars Pizza/Hot Dog Station; soft drinks) were free as well! Plus $1.00 Drafts! There were also other activities, such as online trivia contests, free picture taking with retired Piston Players; and intermission entertainment as well! The Viewing Parties were overall such a great time!Needless to say that I definitely look forward to returning for further concerts and viewing parties!

F*** this place, I understand not letting the nose bleed section go downstairs but I paid $100 for lower level seating and tried going upstairs to say hi to a friend and wasn't allowed. Oh I also wasn't allowed to get DRINKS OR WATER. Last penny I ever spend here

Greetings and salutations yelpers. Once again attended a concert at soundboard. Venue is decent size. Level I was on seats are all on flat open space, no stadium seating. There are monitors around however they need to work on the clarity of images presented. With all the high def I would expect the images to be crisper and clearer. There are multiple bars inside and outside the venue. Cute intimate settings for a concert. Had a good time. Would return and may try different seating area.

Bartender charged 28 dollars for a tall bourbon and soda, price was supposed to be 16, Night of Knockouts 32 had 10 fights , 8 of which went less than 1 round, due to the fact the promoter books mismatches basically all the time. The blue corner wins 99 percent of the fights
