Slows To Go

Great spot to pick up dinner on the way home and enjoy your Slow's favorites. Need to fill my 'Yardbird' craving every so often and the sweet potato mash, Mac and cheese as sides to some excellent brisket is not to shabby either. Easy to place an order and pick up is quick and efficient. There's a couple places with bar height tables along the outside wall to stand and eat if you wanted I guess, but this location is set up to be takeout only

I ordered the rib tips meal with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The service was great. I decided to take it to go but you can smell the great smoke when you get out of your car. I knew this was going to be good and I wasn't disappointed.

Went in on a Friday night to order togo, there was no wait to order. Parking available on site, so you don't have to pay to park. Ordered the yardbird, the reason, 16oz coleslaw, 32oz mac and cheese and two pieces of carrot cake, they offer one side of bbq sauce per sandwich. 75$/ including tip. When I got it all home it was good. Only complaint is that they don't offer choice of toast or roll for the sandwiches. By the time I got home my yardbird bun was completely soggy. I still enjoyed it but it could have been better. Inside the site was clean and staff was friendly, food came out very quickly. All in all when I need a Slows BBQ fix this is a good (not great) alternative to the sit down restaurant. Side note to Slows, you all used to offer choice of bread for sandwiches at sit down slows but do not any more. Please bring that back!!!!!! The texas toast was so much better than a soft hamburger bun. Please!!!!!!

My favorite bbq place for years! I really don't even consider trying anywhere else since I feel nothing can beat it! Also my dad is a champion bbq dude! So it's his house or slows!My favorite is the pulled pork. Also love the Mac and cheese, waffle fries with cheese sauce, pit beans, coleslaw, and bread pudding!Just a wonderful place!

best BBQ in town!! The sauces are amazing-- especially apple bbq sauce. my top favorite item for over 20 years is the Yardbird sandwich! the pork & beans are the best anywhere! I love the convenience of Slows 2 Go.

Great foodFriendly staff who greeted me with a smile. Sat at the window and watched the world go by in Downtown Detroit. Being Downtown is already a vibe. Perfect music playing to set the atmosphere.

Triple Threat Pork sandwich and Brisket Enchiladas. the menu could just be those two things and I know id be fine. they're so good. I've yet to see a dip in service or quality since they've opened, always chill people and chill vibes and daaaaaaang that apple bbq sauce is just so so very very delicious... I could super troopers chug a bottle if necessary, not that I have... but, ya... would ‍ chef's kiss. Ambiance is legit.

This place has really gone down hill $20 for a sandwich and a side and can of coke. No more Charleen either ..Portions really been scaled down hard core . Everything is about half the size it use to be here

this food was horrible rib tips tough and dry. I can do a basic macaroni but make it wi regular macaroni not shells please. and the most horrible of all these terrible baked beans dry overly garlicky this was a very bad meal wasted food and money. Perfect these recipes or just stop selling food this was not good at all I couldn't even force myself to eat it
