Sinbad Restaurant located on Saint Clair Street Detroit, MIFood: During this function at the Sinbad Restaurant and Marina, Beef Medallion, Spaghetti, Baked Cod (fish) with all the sides. The open bar was really cool .Service: The wait staff was awesome and Kudos to the bartenders.Ambiance: The view of the Marina and Detroit River was breath taking. The weather was perfect for hanging out on the patio and the breeze coming off the River was magical.

Well today's visit was garbage. I pulled up after work and wanted to get some carry out to go home and was told parking was 3.00$ even though I parked my car myself. I was told to go to the atm. The fee is probably more than the parking itself Disappointed. Why are you collecting money from ppl to park their own car for carry out? 4/16/24 @ 5:44pmWon't be back. I guess I had my experience already and can't stop by something by the house. Head to Grosse Point!

We went with a large group with a catfish lunch or chivken parm option. Started with nice salad that had tomato slices and carrot slivers, warm garlic roll, one large catfish filet (hot, flaky and not over breaded) baked potato and a brownie triangle we enjoyed it all. Staff was quick and on it...nice view of river...

Sindbad's has been around for decades and is a staple of Detroit, right on the Detroit River. The food is decent. The service is friendly, attentive, and excellent. It gets a bit crowded and noisy inside because it's a popular place. It's on the water but a lot of the seating doesn't have a water view. We enjoyed a nice window view.I enjoyed the clam chowder. My cod fish sandwich was okay, the fries were good. The corned beef Reuben had good flavor. The mozzarella sticks were fine. I really liked the homemade marinara sauce with them.The Sangria was a bit sour for my taste.Overall, everything was good, but I wouldn't say great. But the nostalgia of this place is worth the visit.They have their own parking lot.

I had the New York strip steak and my wife had the perch dinner. We both had the clam chowder soup. My sides were the broccoli and baked potato and my better half had the asparagus and ceaser salad. All of it was great. I'm telling you they gave the best clam chowder in Michigan. My steak was as good as the great steak specialty places. They have the best perch dinners in the area. Great service too. Super friendly and attentive staff. Cool bar too. They've won business for 75 for a reason. If you have not been here try it out for something different. It's not a trendy party place. Very simple with older patrons but do not let that deter you. It's a Detroit classic off the beaten path which is all the more reason to take in a night at Sindbads. Enjoy!

Food was great service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was causal and relaxed. I will definitely go back
