My husband got us takeout from here. I had Pad Almond with Beef Mild. Delicious and a good portion. The only problem was no almonds. Still liked it enough to try again very soon! I don't really know anything about the restaurant itself since I am currently laid up after foot surgery but next time I try out I will update.

I was super excited to try this place because I don't live far from it and neither does my friend who I was meeting with for lunch.Time seems to have stood still for this place. It looks like they're stuck in 2020, the year of Covid lockdowns where restaurants weren't seating people and they were only doing carryout. We walked in after we met in the parking lot and there was a small floor space with the tables pushed off to the side and chairs stacked on top of the tables. The worker at the cash register was wearing a mask and there were 2 others picking up and waiting for food.Needless to say, we turned around and left to go elsewhere. What a disappointment. I suppose for carryout, maybe this place is good, I can't tell from the mixed reviews. Judging by the filthy floor that was noticeable because the floor space was wide open, I'm pretty sure I'm not ordering food from this location. I can't imagine what the kitchen cleanliness standard is given that the floor doesn't appear to have ever been cleaned since this place has been open. Bleck...

Take out so there's no ambience or service review.Food: Shrimp Pad Thai, no spice.8 good-tasting, small to medium shrimp so that's decent, but a tad dry (similar to starchy) and not plump, crunchy and juicy as I like. Food was plentiful like all Asian restaurants provide, more than enough for two.The biggest issue with the Pad Thai: slightly too sweet. Was it made that way to counterbalance the spice if it were added? Is this restaurant's target market an older, obese and diabetic crowd that craves sugary pop and treats and processed foods stuffed with corn syrup? Unfortunately a Mountain Dew would be perfect as a beverage with this. But no food, unless normally sweet, or sweet and sour, should approach the sweetness of Kellogg's frosted corn flakes or Captain Crunch. Rating: 4/5Spring rolls: very good, crispy, very filled with cabbage (healthy!) -- and few other vegetables so that's a minus. Rating: 4.5/5. I'll come back but order different things, maybe red curries like Gang Dang or Gang Pak. Other Thai restaurants sometimes have a yellow curry that's very flavorful, very savory, especially Bangkok Kitchen's Kow Soy soup (has nothing to do with soy ingredients) in Farmington near Drake Road and Grand River -- still my absolute favorite Thai restaurant although I've been to only five or so.

I've searched and searched for the best drunken noodle and I've had alottttt of different ones but this one, this drunken noodle was the best I've ever had. The best tasting sauce I've had in drunken noodle. I live 45min away and I will 100% make the drive to get it again. They do put alot of spice, even for mild but idc it was so damn good I can't wait to eat it again. I'm actually so sad they're closed today cuz I was going to make the drive again . Their crab Rangoon is also pretty dang good but that drunken noodle . Excited to try some other dishes!

Excellent food! Wonderful Pad Thai , Seafood Combination, and Three's Company- our regular dinners. Fast , polite service. Currently it is take out, but looks as though there is a possibility of dining in; it's not set up . I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hands down, favorite local Thai place for carry out. There are a couple of tables if you want to eat in, but it's nothing overly large or fancy. The peanut curry noodles with shrimp or chicken is amazing! Can be spicy, but oh so good. Service is always friendly.

THE best Thai food/restaurant in this general area! Total hidden gem. For some reason, the restaurant doesn't show up on Google maps which is a shame. The staff are very friendly and food preparation is quick. I've had the pad Thai, pad see ew, and curry pad thai. All are incredible, and this has become my go to Thai restaurant in the area!! The inside of the restaurant decor is nothing special, but again it's only to go ordering at the moment. The spring rolls are crispy and flavorful, and the noodle dishes are all well balanced as well. 10/10 recommend this place!!!

Great experience getting Thai takeout from Simply Thai. Takeout has become a huge part of the restaurant experience mid-pandemic, so I'll hit on some of the key points people are looking to hear first: the restaurant does takeout by phone, and you'll come in to pick up inside the building (no curbside pickup available). They do require masks, waiting spots are marked so people maintain a distance, and there's a clear plexiglass barrier between the staff and customers during the pickup process. They do provide hand sanitizer as well. As of my visit on 9/12, they weren't doing dine-in service. The menu is pretty straightforward, but I wish the website was updated and had a copy of it! Luckily you can find photos of it on here, as well as on other websites that feature the restaurant. The food itself was good, but unfortunately it looks like they've stopped serving fried wontons, which was a bit of a bummer. The spring roll was standard fare, but the Peanut Curry Noodles were a stand-out performer! My only gripe is that the extra-hot spice level is still not as hot as I'd like. (Disclaimer: I have a high spice tolerance, and I'd asked for the hottest level they had). Overall, no complaints about Simply Thai -- if you're looking for a Thai takeout spot near Wixom/ Commerce, look no further!
