The wings are the best I've had anywhere! Seriously, get the spicy ones. They're not that hot & they dont need sauce.The burgers are awesome! Perfectly seasoned. The fries are great. Thin cut.I love the Saturday special. Noon to 4pm, $1 tacos & $1 sliders. Go home buzzed & full for $12.Friendly staff. The local community loves this place!The only bad reviews are for political reasons. If you need a "safe place", stay in the city. We dont want you here!

The service outstanding!! I started out with an amazing fish dinner and added smelt as well. The fish is amazing!! Best frog legs you will find. I will admit this is more than my first visit. I've also came in on their Wednesday night crab legs and prime rib. The prime rib melts in your mouth. They also offer caramelized onions or mushrooms if you choose. The crab comes with roll, baked potato, and coleslaw. Also to mention free desert cake as well. You wont go home hungry!!! On Saturday the prime rib comes with a separate plate of amazing cream green beans and mashed potatoes. You have to try this place out. It's a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere between the navigational corn fields. Lol. You wont be disappointed. Fast service and they make you feel right out home. Absolutely a 5.0 for me. Check it out!!! Amazing steaks on Sundays.

I did a take out order the other day. I've never been to Silver Star as I live way in the other side of town but my buddy lives down the road from the bar. The food was delicious and it was prepared quickly. The service was friendly.

First of all I found the food good. My wife and I had a sampler platter of onion rings, wings, poppers, etc. I was large and good. Only ranch for dipping. Nothing else offered. Soft drinks brought out in cans with a cup with ice. Ok I suppose. Had the double cheeseburger basket. Damn good burger. Cooked properly. Huge. The only thing I would order differently is get the single because it was so big. However the service was a letdown. Seemed like we were inconveniencing the staff. Indifferent. The overall vibe was disconcerting. The signs etc around the bar were decidedly right wing. No NFL games shown because of the kneeling during anthem thing. I fully believe in freedom of speech and expression. I just don't think a minority or a pro left wing person would get the same courtesy. Just an impression. I hope I'm wrong.

This place is a dump. Only the local yokals go here. Save your money and your sanity and go some place else. The food is terrible and the booze is watered down.

I felt uncomfortable the minute I saw the Anti Obama tshirts for sale, along with the sign behind the karaoke stage. I never realized places like this still existed. If you are a progressive, Latino, LGBT, Black, Muslim, or anyone who might not "fit in", keep driving. Luckily we were in a large group, and had safety in numbers. We ate, drank and quickly left. Awesome food small home town bar. Anything from wings to crab legs. Best burger around.

I have only been to the Silver Star bar for crab legs, and believe me, I wasn't disappointed. The portions are huge and if you don't mind eating your food on paper plates, this is the bar for you. The owner, Mario, Is very friendly and took time out of his busy schedule to come and say hello. If you're looking for a cold beer, JUMBO crab legs and a place you can say Merry Christmas without anyone getting upset or offended, maybe you should get to Maybee, Michigan.

6/17/19. Had to try the buffet we have been seeing on the web. There were items like mashed potatoes, chicken, chicken pot pie, ham, meat balls with mushrooms, meatloaf, backed Mac and cheese, and lots more. It was all delicious , could only do two plate full and still make it to the car.

I've been going here on and off for years. I go mostly for the wings and fish. The wings are a pretty good size and breaded with a "secret ingredient" added. You can get various sauces on the side. The fish is lightly breaded and also has that special ingredient. The bar is a little out of the way, but I like that about this place. It is literally surrounded by farmland. The beer is always cold too.They gave me a menu to go, to order takeout, so I took pictures of it and posted them here.
