Sibley Gardens

We went for a retirement party. The food was outstanding. Private room was small but cozy. Wait staff was friendly and inviting. I plan to bring my wife next time for dinner.

Dinner reservation at 6pm for 8 on 1/8/2024. It was busy when we were there at 6pm. However, we were told they were slow this day due to Michigan Wolverines playing against Washington for the national champions game.However, we had a quality dinner. Calamari, Goat Cheese Napoleon and the main dishes, which I got Seared Scallop Classico, were all really good. Although the main dish I got, Seared Scallop Classico looked very small portion-wise, I was so full after. On top of all the food, we ordered few desserts to share. We could not finish any of the desserts. This is an upscale dining restaurant with nice interior design, atmosphere, not for watching sports and cheering kind of place, which was perfect for the occasion. It does come with the price but when it is needed, it does the job. Fast and accurate service overall, great food and can't go wrong with Steak Sammy!

We were seated right away with no reservations.The waiter was courteous and friendly.The four of us enjoyed our appetizers,meals and dessert as well.We haven't been able to enjoy this restaurant in years.So glad we got to experience it last week.It's a great place.

Came for our anniversary - Paul was an outstanding waiter - The steak Sammy was delicious and tender. Chicken parm was good as well the coconut cream pie.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside - but it has a very nice patio and the inside has a rather fancy steakhouse and somewhat of a speakeasy feel with a well stocked bar. The server was very nice and attentive and knew the menu well and offered some good suggestions. I got the Mediterranean pasta which came with a very nice side salad. The salad had a great variety of veggies and they were all super fresh. The pasta was also delicious with a good number of veggies. My mom got the Linguini Aglio Olio, which yes is prepared in garlic oil, it had a lot of bits of roasted garlic but it was pretty much soaked in the oil. They seemed to treat the oil more like a sauce than a light dressing as it were. Perhaps I should have expected that, but it did feel like over kill. I would definitely go back, but perhaps not really recommend that particular dish unless they've learned to drain it.

This restaurant is old-school Downriver and is a classic! Lot's of history and wonderful top-notch Italian food! Beautiful, homey and classy interior. Wonderful service and amazing food! Definitely a destination for a special occasion or just because you are feeling up to some really good Italian food!

Service and food is top notch. All menu items are cooked to perfection. Sibley's staff is attentive and pleasant. It looks like a plain building from the outside. When you step inside you are engulfed in it's ambiance. It is cozy and it's like a restraunt from the 20's or 30's. You cannot have a bad experience at Sibley's. They have wonderful food, drinks and dessert. My personal favorite has to be their shrimp cocktail; coconut shrimp appetizer and or fried shrimp. The shrimp is hearty in size. You definitely get what you pay for. Their Italian dishes are also excellent.Sibley's if my favorite restraunt of all time. If you've never been, you have to try it out!

Like a speakeasy from the 70's. I had the most amazing Pork Chop with a couple of Perch on the side. FANTASTIC!!

We visited Sibley Gardens to celebrate my Birthday! Can't say enough good things about this place. Love coming here for special occasions. Our server Alexa was a joy. Explained everything to us, gave us recommendations and they were spot on. Sibley Gardens is old school and offers great food, great service and a beautiful decor.
