Shores Inn Food & Spirits

This is my favorite place to take friends visiting. They have a large menu and I have never had anything I didn't like. I especially enjoy Tuesdays half off pizza days. The service is friendly although it seems if you're not a regular you have to wave down your server or bartender a lot, which really isn't an issue.

The burgers are my favorite. I also enjoy the grilled salmon. Friendly and great service definitely will be back.

I loveeeeeeee it here. So I came in for happy hour with my mind set on the BOGO appetizers. I thought the $1 off drinks was a separate special but you actually have to get the two minimum drinks to get the BOGO offer so I got a sprite and a margarita. Margarita came out great. I got the cheese bread and the bang bang shrimp and they were amazing. The cheese bread was so hot and cheesy and buttery and just very satisfying to say the least. I will never not love bang bang shrimp so they're always good in my book. My bartender was lovely. I would love to come back and try some more stuff on the menu.

Good food, good service, great selection of beers, cheese bread, pizza, french onion soup. Love the place.

Great spot in the Shores! Specials, drinks, tvs, great food -- can't go wrong!My family of 5 recently stopped in for dinner after a long day outside. We loved how cool and air conditioned the restaurant was. Upon walking in, you'll notice a chalkboard wall filled with their weekly specials (Half off pizza on Tuesday (dine in or carry out!), perch dinner on Wednesday, happy hour drink and appetizer specials) Our booth was in the back of the building and honestly, it needed some TLC but we didn't let it get to us. We enjoyed being away from the loudness of the restaurant. For an appetizer we all split the saganaki. Cheese was perfectly fried and the bread was so soft (like a cloud!) Most of us opted for sandwiches or burgers with waffle fries (a $3 up charge, I believe) The fries were seasoned well and the portion was plentiful. I had a classic burger with pepper jack cheese (I always love when there's multiple cheese options) and it was perfect! It truly hit the spot and I will be back for burger night on a Monday. Overall, great establishment that is clearly well loved by so many in town. The new patio is a beautiful addition for the summer, too!

Pizza was tasteless, sauce wasn't even there. Very disappointing in the pizza. We won't do carry out pizza again from there

Did they change cooks? Last 2 visits the food was awful. fajita steak should be fall apart tender this was cooked to death rawhide. wings with so much breading they were hard as a rock. coleslaw with no dressin, Philly sandwich that completely saturated the bun. USUALLY have great meals but these 2 outings were awful

I've been to Shores Inn too many times to count. It's just about what you'd expect from a bar. As a local, there's always someone I know dining in or at the bar. The ambiance was nice before, but they now have garage doors that open in the warmer months. Service is attentive and friendly. As for the food, my personal favorite dish is the nacho appetizer. I'd go as far as saying the nachos are the best I've ever had at a bar, that is, if the chips are cooked right. The chips for the nachos and also the spinach and artichoke dip occasionally get overcooked and end up tasting stale. If they're cooked right, then you'll enjoy either appetizer. The steakhouse burger is the way to go if you're looking for a burger/handheld. The pizza is good, and notably half off on Tuesdays for both carry-out and dine-in. There are other food specials M-F that are worth knowing about ahead of time. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would, but for Yelp reviews, I always round up.

My food. What can I say. I asked for a Club sandwich not on the normal bread they serve but on wheat bread. The server said that could be done. When the sandwich was served it was on the bread listed on the menu and I sent it back. Twenty minutes later it came back sloppily made. The server was gracious and discounted our bill, but our meal was crappy.We went for trivia night. That too was sub par. Hardly could understand the person saying the trivia questions. Also the rules weren't spelled out completely.....like you could only use a "double" once. If I would have know that I would have played differently.Will I return? Doubt it.......I just wasn't impressed
