What a cute place! Kids and I went for breakfast and the food was excellent. They both got the cinnamon roll pancakes and loved them so much we got a takeout order for hubby at home. It was only the tiniest bit slow and the waitress and hostess both were apologizing profusely...and seriously, it was not a big deal especially because they were swamped when we got there! Highly recommend

The food is well prepared and made to order. Classic diner food. The service is excellent. Most times the owner is your server. She's amazing. The ambiance is classic diner with a touch of Elvis love. If you are in the Linden/Fenton area, definitely check it out

Fantastic food like momma used to make. Always fresh and always friendly. One of my best breakfast spots.

Service is perfect. Like mom is bringing it to you. Quiet atmosphere and homey environment.

Super rude server. We had 6 people came in for breakfast. The server told us they don't have space for 6. She said It in such a way as if we own her money. We were already annoyed by her attitude and going to walk away. But one of our party noticed there are actually many empty tables inside they are just smaller, so he suggested we can seat 3 and 3. The server said they cant do that in a despise. No further explanation on why. I don't know if she is like this to everyone or just us, I have never seen a place serve insults for breakfast.

County Fried steak is perfect. Homemade and tasty. Has a small town dinner feel. Never had a bad meal Prices are good.

No acknowledgment when we came in the door. Waitress took us to a table. We asked if we could have the corner table & she said, "That's for more than 2 ppl" without offering us another option or saying anything else....AND the place was half empty. Not too friendly. When done, it took longer than it should have to get our bill & I believe we may have been overcharged. Since we were up to the cash register when we got it, we didn't take the time to look at it. Waffle with blueberries2 eggs, toast & coffee. $14.65?I left $ 3.00 tip which would of been more if we'd felt had a friendlier, more on top of it waitress. :-(

Still the best place for breakfast & lunch if you're lucky to get a seat but now it's all remodeled and still lovely. Becky (Shirley's daughter) runs the place. She's a hoot, adorable and very efficient. She makes the place feel homey!

Had lunch yesterday and Going back for breakfast tomorrow. Simple good food. Large servings. Home cooking. From the outside it doesn't look like much but it's all about the food and friendly people. Nice to have another place for home cooking. Linda B.
