Doris approved. Five stars.First off the service is everything, Jay was lovely. We went for a girlfriend's birthday. Dress up! You need a reservation. No valet parking. We ended up getting the chef set course. The whole table needs to do it or you cant. The photos do not capture all the food from that night. In my opinion completely worth it. Tons of wonderful food! lots of options all curated for the table! Four plates per course. Tip included as well as a " biscuit bag" to bake some biscuits- a take home gift. The ambience is dark and moody completely feel free to dress up or business casual. I wouldn't go there with ripped jeans. *Parking out front. The tab was around $800.00 for four people *120 dollar bottle of wine*Would I go all the time? No. But for a fun night or celebration...absolutely!

Very confused by the positive reviews. I am glad I tried SheWolf but I would never come back and I would never recommend it to friends. The best part is the atmosphere, beyond that, I have nothing really positive to say. I went with a party of 4 and we ordered a variety of apps, pastas, and mains. The sea bream was cold and bland (the best part about it was the braised kale). The gnocchi al fungi and lumache alla vodka were just okay. We left behind food from almost every dish. I have no desire to return to SheWolf, especially at the price point. Also beware there are only 2 single stall restrooms for the entire restaurant. People were cutting in line and getting scolded by others. The bathroom situation felt more like a gas station than a fine dining establishment

Wife and I went to Shewolf last night as we were looking for a romantic dinner before seeing Le Miserables....For a "romantic" restaurant they need to change the seating. I normally dont mind a "high top" table but that works ar a bar not at a place I want a romantic dinner for 2 hours. Ambiance is nice but overall area is still "up and coming"Serivce was excellent and that was the highlight of the night. Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive and recommended a multi course meal. Keep in mind this is a "tapas" style so its small portions with high prices. Something im seeing more and more and not liking. I need food! We ordered the chick pea pancake and it was fairly good (though small) along with the raviolis (very good) and my carbonara (good). None of the portions are large and I think thats the idea. We also ordered the faccoia bread ($6) and the halibut for the finisher (which was cooked well but NO SIDES!) you gotta pay for xtra for that too! Overall good experience but if your going to charge NY or South Beach prices in Detroit (our meal was $170' with tip and no drinks, you need to bring better value food-wise. Also I think that charge for bread in an italian restaurant is ridiculously excessive and this charging for side dishes thing needs to stop!So overall good experience but not a great overall value. Next time just drinks and some appetizers.

Made a reservation for 3 on a Thursday night. Never been to shewolf before so didn't know what to expect. The restaurant was very open and airy. We were sat right away, and ordered beverages. Each cocktail was delish. We ordered a ton of apps and everything was amazing. Unique flavors that all complemented each other well. Our entrees came out shortly after, and were also delicious. My entree was super hot, but the other two were just warm, it didn't take away from the flavor but seemed like those two dishes were waiting for mine to finish. We finished off the evening with dessert. Over all the service, food and atmosphere made for a great night out. We will be back.

Totally awesome in every way. Also a - best in world must try - listed below. We opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairing, and it was an excellent choice which I would eagerly do again. First, the vibe and set up is open, cool, cozy, upbeat, traditional, buzzing and personal all at the same time. With the right company it could also be romantic. Each staff member I encountered was very happy to be there and very helpful. The food was fabulous. Tasty, delicious, creative, just the right amount, all of the many courses were served with a perfectly paired wine. The pistachio gelato was the best I have ever had and is likely the best in the world. Made in house - like most of the food - it was literally perfect. Plenty of parking,

The best restaurant experience we've had in YEARS! I LOVE to cook and am pretty good(?) However, I love a fabulous restaurant experience. We definitely got one! The food was divine, the atmosphere felt special but not foreign; like we fit in. Their entire team engaged us in an incredibly genuine way; we loved all of them! From the moment we walked into the door, everyone was brilliant. (My photos do not come close to depicting how beautiful the presentation was.)
