Seaviche Tacos & Bowls

We ordered catering for the office and everyone loved it. Delivery was on time, friendly service, delicious food.Most everything was seasoned really well, and the meats, chips, guac and salsas were particularly flavorful. The beans, corn, pico and fajita veggies could have used a little salt, but that's easy to fix. I will for sure order more chips next time - I think the amount was a little small for our group of 20 with the huge amount of guac. All other portions were generous and we had enough for leftovers. I really loved the seasoning on the meats and the salsas were so fresh and flavorful. The guac is nice and zingy.We will for sure be ordering again - glad to give Chipotle a rest and support a small business.

Disclaimer: It is never in my interest to speak poorly on a business, however, they left me no choice!After so much anticipation and seeing their tik toks and how everyone says the food is amazing, my partner and I decided we wanted this for dinner because it's on my way home from work and convenient because it's 100 degrees in Detroit this week and we weren't cooking. After browsing the menu which sounds great we created our bowl orders and proceed to head there. The location is right on E Jefferson, however parking couldn't be more weird. It's in the back of the building which doesn't look the best and I would not go without the daylight.It shares a space with a bread basket restaurant and upon entering, where to order was a bit confusing. Once I start to order though an incredibly nice gentleman is helping me, I choose my protein "al pastor" after my grain "Spanish rice" and he gives the smallest portion of meat that's already chopped incredibly small to the size of rice crispy cereal and asks me "would you like double meat for $2.99 extra"???I declined and asked for an appropriate helping of meat and did not charge me. Everything else was fine until coming down to where I noticed the guac that we wanted was beyond the color brown and looked disgusting. I finished the purchase and make it home to eat and the food was completely tasteless despite looking pretty good and we were literally in disbelief. I'm not sure who's leaving these amazing reviews but they must be getting paid for not being forthcoming with the truth. Unfortunately, I cannot say I would ever return here but I wish them the best!

The tacos they make are absolutely amazing! Super good, fresh and tasty!! Love this place!

No one spoke. Just told me where to go to make my order. Did not put all my food in the bag. I had to return to get the corn I paid for. No apology or sorry for the inconvenience. Food was good; heavy on the sauce and rice, light on the protein. Atmosphere was regular fast food type.

Pescatarian review: Would have to come back before making a final decision. This place could give Chipotle a run for its money with some modifications. Ambiance: small diner style and shares the facility with another restaurant that does deli sandwiches and more. Not enticing to stay with regards to decor but pleasant and clean. Service: no complaints. Staff were eager to help me through the menu and were patient. They also let me try the sauces to see if I would like it. Nice touch. Food: So I really wanted to try one of the Seaviche bowls but the salmon and tuna were both out of stock. I instead tried a bowl. I am pescatarian so I was happy that they had options for me. I went with the fried fish but regretted it. Fish tasted cheap and the oil it was fried in was not fresh. Unfortunately there was no flavor to it either. Everything else in the bowl was delicious but I would not recommend the fish as all. I couldn't finish it. Same with the chips and Guac. It's solid Guac but the chips had a heavy oil taste I did it enjoy. The seasoning on them is good though.Overall I would come back and choose shrimp over fish, and not get the chips unless the oil was fresh.

Food was excellent Service not so much staff acted like they were doing me a favor and they were not feeling it

I was downtown today doing stuff and was absolutely starving, and didn't feel like driving to far off course. I found this place on yelp, saw it was new, and decided to give it a try.Seaviche shares space with a breadbasket restaurant, so don't be to confused walking in like I was. I reviewed the menu, and even though it's slim, the food here's really super good. I went with two chicken tacos and a fountain drink. Total? $12 and some change. The chicken tacos were HUGE and extremely good. I had a choice of soft taco shells, and even though I can't remember which one I got, it was fabulous.I liked their selection of bowls and tacos, but the bowl would have been way to big for me and I wasn't super hungry, which is why I went with the two tacos. They have shrimp, chicken, pork and steak, but no shredded beef available.Staff here's friendly and helpful, which was great. My only suggestion is, they don't have any napkins or silverware available for self service. When I was eating my taco, some of it fell out of the shell, and I tried to get a fork to scoop up what I could. I looked near the fountain area, nothing. No napkins either. I think you have to ask for them from the staff, but if their helping someone else at the moment (which they were) it can be frustrating. Maybe put out some napkins and forks so if we need them during our meal, we don't have to hunt down an employee to get some.Overall a great place. Parking's free and in the back, close to I-75 and easy in and easy out for me. Will be back for a quick meal on the future next time I'm in the area.

Good food and friendly staff, but there were so many DoorDash orders that get priority before the customers in line which caused a long wait.

Seaviche Tacos is a great spot to grab some delicious fusion tacos on East Jefferson in Detroit. It is inside Bread Box and just opened three months ago. The menu is simple, delicious, and made to order. They pop open an avocado and mash the guacamole right before your eyes. Fresh as you can get! The steak taco is packed to the gills and delicious, as well as the Pastor. I inhaled the elote, it was super yummy! The chips are seasoned with chili pepper & lime which was a great additional flavor for the queso. The quesadilla was delicious & the portion was over the top (as well as the rest of the menu) Everything at Seaviche is well worth the price! I cannot wait to go back and try to cevicheGive them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised!

This place is in the same location as Bread Basket Deli. So I decided to get one item. I got a fish taco made to order with salsa onions, peppers and a lot of other stuff. If was good. Staff was nice. No complaints here.
