SCL Royal Oak

I have only been here once for salsa dancing on friday nights and I just couldn't get into this place. Granted, this club is definitely nicer than most of the clubs that I've been to in royal oak but the salsa dancing here just seems so blah compared to cantina's (which is now closed ). The vibe seemed more like people trying to look good and stand around instead of actually dancing. Maybe I just went on a bad night? I'm not sure but I'll give this place one more try before I say no forever to scl royal oak.

Nice vibe. Good housey music. 21+ crowd unlike other area clubs. Beautiful people. A lot of crowd and staff carried over from V Club at MGM. Essentially new club as of Summer 2017.

Went for a private work Christmas party. Place was awesome. Cool vibe. Bartenders were amazing. View was amazing. Food was amazing. Love that they had bathrooms on that level and we didn't have to go down to use. DJ was awesome. It was cold but the outside porch area was sweet as well. Highly recommend. Would love to go back

I just spent $7 on an Uber because it said that it's open until 2 am on a Sunday and that's not true. Update your hours please!

Came here last night and from the outside the place didn't look full at all. There was no line outside either. We were told there was a hold on guys and a $40 cover for guys, $10 for girls. I don't even pay $40 back home in NYC! Needless to say we left and went to 5th ave. I'll be in Michigan for a year for grad school and I'll never return to this place.

Had a great time here last night with my girlfriends from college who came in from New York! I would definitely go back again, this was a fun night dancing!

Was told this was a great place but they didn't have an ATM for cover. Okay that's fine it's 2019 most places offer venmo or credit card for cover because that's how you get people to come back to your establishment when you offer them conveniences this place however did no such thing and told us to walk a block and a half away to a drive through atm...then we go in and the atmosphere and ambiance is uncomfortable and ghetto. The workers have no regard to the satisfaction of their customers like they should if they want people to want to come, would not recommend wasting your time or money even bothering to come here. You want a good night go to good ole fifth avenue where they know how to keep people coming back. Honestly the only good thing about this place was the lights when you walk in. Congrats to them for balling out on nice lighting for a shitty venue

If you think to go to any other club DONT!!!!! This club is seriously the only club you should ever go to. Everyone is so kind there and it's such a fun place to go to. This club is spacious (which is amazing) along with it has an outdoor area that is spacious. I come here a lot and honestly I always have the best time of my life here. Don't go anywhere else but SCL!!!!! You will all love it.
