It was a slow night, so there was one waitress working the room. The food exceeded my expectations. The Lamb chops were the best I've had in the city, and it wasn't close!The sides were good we had the catfish, yams and greens everything was delicious. I've come here in the past years ago but this was miles above.10/10!! Good music and vibes as well.

My first time visiting I Went On A Good Steady night , Service was great I Ordered Catfish , Mac & Chz , Yams Meal was 8.5 That Macaroni I Had WAS A 10/10.The Inside was nice dim date night energy , would visit the bar next time .

I went here for a pre concert dinner. It was also one of my friends birthdays. It was conveniently located to the music hall. Imade reservations which I highly recommend. We were quickly seated and checked our coats in. There are various options on the menu such as beef, seafood, pasta and vegetarian items. I chose the Snapper on recommendation. The snapper came as a full fish with head included. It was cooked and seasoned well. The vegetables were also great. There was a complimentary dessert for the persin with the birthday. The wait staff was knowledgeable of the items and very friendly. I will plan on coming back.

$9 for fries. Not truffle fries or anything special they made in house but just regular fries. The burger was meh I've had it before and it was really good! My aunt got us a gift card so I'm going to use it. Service was cool. Ambiance was not $16 for a burger and no frites to go with it. My partner enjoyed his meal and I'm happy with that.

I've been wanting to visit SavannahBlue for too long and finally made it today! We walked from Detroit Opera House in a drizzle, totally worth it!! Absolutely delicious dinner with enough for leftovers! They provided cornbread muffins with honey that were delicious!! We both got fried chicken that came with collard greens with ham and candied yams better than I've ever had at any Thanksgiving!! Friend wanted black eyed peas we shared some of it with her taking that home too!!! We arrived about 5p and first table but, over an hour later the place was packed. This place is special and already look forward to going back to try the next item-unless it's time for more fried chicken!!!

Upon entering the restaurant, the initial vibes were promising. I've been meaning to come for a long time and finally came on a special occasion. However, my excitement was dampened by a series of disappointments.Firstly, the parking situation was a little weird following a sign directing towards the restaurant's parking area. It was a $20 flat fee that was not expected at all.Moving on to the food, there were some hits and misses. The complimentary muffins with honey were a pleasant start, and so is the accompanying hard pita with the hummus. The Georgian hummus, while flavorful with dried cranberries adding a nice touch of sweetness, could have been with a softer pita. Additionally, the catfish platter turned out to be disappointingly bland, and the oxtail, while expected to be tender, arrived cold and difficult to break apart. We also ordered a side of grits that were also underwhelming so we didn't really touch it.Service further added to the underwhelming experience. With food arriving an hour after ordering and difficulty in flagging down our server for additional drinks or check-ins, I suspect the problem might root from being understaffed. To top it off, being automatically gratified for a less-than-satisfactory experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would probably try other great restaurants in the area given the price and experience.

I wanted to love thos place but unfortunately it was a miss for the most part. The wait to be seat even though we had a reservation was about 20 plus minute with no waiting area as about 5 different parties were all crowded on the staircase. I was excited when the food finally arrived at the table but unfortunately the fish was over friend and dried our. They took 25% off but the fish itself was not edible, which was the most expensive this on the plate. I will say our waitress was amazing which is why I didn't make a fuss about it. Will I ever return, No.

Love this place! I came here with some girlfriends and we started with drinks at the bar. The drinks were so good (and strong). I got the ida b wells and I loved how balanced it was. Our bartender was great. Super personable and definitely made the night better.I ordered the jerk burger and truffle fries and wow they were so flavorful! The burger was a bit messy but wow I would definitely recommend.The way the dining area and bar are set up make the space very intimate and great for small groups or a date night. I loved the music too. This is definitely somewhere I would take people from out of town.

Came here for a work dinner, and it was truly an amazing meal! My coworkers had really been hyping it up, but it exceeded my expectations. The starters were what really blew me away -- every item was such a hit. We got the Crab Dip, Hummus, and Roasted Cauliflower and they were incredible. The Crap Dip is an absolute must-order dish! As for entrees, I opted for the Catfish Plate. The catfish was delicious and perfectly crispy, and I really enjoyed both the collared greens and sweet potatoes. They did not skimp on the portions! The restaurant is a bit more upscale and chic but still as a down-to-earth quality to it. It's actually a very large space, though we sat at a larger table near the bar. Servers were fantastic and attentive throughout our meal!

Reservations recommended, but there is first come, first serve bar seating.We were greeted downstairs before heading home the stairs to the restaurant. Intimate setting. Super cute since it's decorated for Christmas.We started with cocktails - Smokey Robinson and Ida B. Wells. Love the names and the cocktails were yummy. We started with the warm crab dip with crispy wontons. The perfect start to our meal. For dinner, my husband for the seared salmon with shrimp jambalaya and I got the shrimp and grits. The flavors were on point! If you love NOLA, this gave us the food from the city we love. Complimentary cornbread muffins come with dinner too. Those ended up in my belly before I could take a picture.We were too full for dessert, but the bread pudding was recommended. Just means we have to come back soon! Everything was sooo good.
