Delicious! I've been two times when I visit Detroit and I've ordered the sheep milk hot honey cheese dip and the pistachio cake with olive oil ice cream both times. The service is impeccable. They treat you so well and remember tiny details to ensure you're happy. Decor is lovely. I do wish they turned the music down a bit so we could talk.

I visited San Morello restaurant after a previous attempt to secure a table with business partners was unsuccessful. This time, I made a reservation and dined with a friend to sample some of the most recommended dishes. The ambiance was pleasant, but it could benefit from light entertainment, such as Italian or jazz music, to create a more engaging atmosphere.I tried Carmellini's Lamb Meatballs, which stood out as the best dish of the evening, AC's Famous Sheep's Milk Ricotta, and the Tortelli Di Zucca. While the Tortelli was enjoyable, the other dishes didn't leave a lasting impression. My friend ordered the half lobster fettuccine, which I sampled as well and found underwhelming. The waiter was professional and pleasant, doing his job adequately. However, despite a few highlights, nothing I experienced would compel me to return or recommend the restaurant.

I'm not really an Italian food fan, but we wanted to try a new restaurant for new years. Our waiter was phenomenal, so that was a plus. For appetizers we ordered the lamb meatballs, ricotta cheese, and colorful cauliflower. The meatballs were super moist and the included sauce was the perfect touch! The flavor of the cauliflower was light yet still good. For entree I ordered the scallops (a total of 3) with the hazelnut puree on the side. THE SCALLOPS TOUCHED MY SOUL! EACH ONE COOKED TO PERFECTION and every bite made me melt. And the wine I had paired so well with it. As for the pièce de résistance, raspberry lemon sorbet! My taste buds could not be any happier. It was beyond delicious!

Came here in the summer last year and it was such a pleasant experience! I've been here one other time prior to this visit and got to try their pizza and some appetizers. This was a perfect date night meal and the service was wonderful! Our server was helpful and came prepared with recommendations when we felt torn. Need to come back soon to try more!

I was lucky enough to have been treated to San Morello's for a work lunch, and had a very memorable visit. First, the decor of the San Morello is warm, inviting, yet very classy. The table ordered the Ricotta and the Meatballs for appetizers. Of the two, I enjoyed the meatballs more. They came with a very rich, savory sauce. I would order these again. For an entree, I tried the Wood-Fired Chicken and was very pleased. The chicken itself came with perfectly crisp skin, and the meat was tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed the farro verde, which was served as a cold salad. I would order this again as well.

I popped into San Morello for a quick lunch and was really impressed! I arrived just before noon and managed to snag a seat without a reservation, but I'd definitely recommend making one as it filled up quickly with a lively lunchtime crowd.I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered the lamb meatballs, and they were perfect. The meatballs were hearty and packed with flavor--just the right choice for a light bite.San Morello has a warm, inviting vibe, and the service was attentive even with the lunchtime rush. I really enjoyed my experience here.

Stopped in for a quick drink at the indoor bar, and the mocktails were good! I didn't try the food, but the drinks definitely hit the spot. The bartender was super friendly and the whole experience was enjoyable.

I hosted a brunch event in the private dining room last weekend 10/19. The service was incredible & attentive. I totally forgot the name of the lead waitress but she was outstanding and deserves all the praise. She took great care of my guests and I and made sure I had everything I needed during setup. Loved being able to sync my own playlist. Almost all of the food was good, including the gluten free and vegetarian options. The frittata was bland though and the pasta could have used more sauce. The custom cake was delicious and the tiramisu was a treat. The salumi misti with the truffle and goat cheese charcuterie situation was also good. The pastry assortment and fruit trays were good as well. The chicken sausage was SO good. The crispy potatoes too. We had quite the spread. Lol. The Prosecco & champagne selections ended up being really good too. The admin/coordination experience left a little to be desired as I found myself doing a lot of the follow up and tracking down details etc. Overall though, I'd host an event here again.

I had a delivery order, so I can't speak to ambiance and service, but the food itself was really good.I got the classic pizza which was the typical neapolitan pizza with high quality fresh ingredients. It was very good, however the torta setteveli was the star of the show. It was soooo good, especially the crunch of the hazelnut. The cake was soft and the layers were creamy. I was so focused on the cake I even forgot about the ice cream until I was finished. I'm so glad I caved and tried this restaurant instead of just going to bed. The meal was well rounded with much needed carbs after a long day.

Came in tonight on a whim and sat at the bar. It was a moderately busy night and we got to watch the Bartender, Jay, make these gorgeous cocktails all night. He's a true artist!!! Tony, the barback, was super attentive. The both gave 5 star service. We had wine, whiskey and some MI beer and it was all lovely. The atmosphere and Playlist were very nice. What about the food you ask? We had Your Grandmother's Ravioli, house made stuffed with meat and topped with amazing marinara. The star of the show, aside from Jay and Tony, were the lamb meatballs. I highly recommend this swanky little gem.
