Have been here a few times dining in and everyone is always friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh and piping hot! I've had everything from torta, tacos, quesadillas, tamales, Guac and of course a few drinks from their extensive menu! If you can find something you like I'm shocked because they have so many choices for whatever you're craving. Happy to have a solid Mexican place close to home.

Date night; drove 40 mins. Thought it be good. But no i don't recommend. Not a happy environment. waiter was way way too attentive, like i felt hurried too. Food had no flavor. Fajita mix even though i added salt even the salsa was not flavored. Margarita drink was too plain, taste more like sprite. $12 dllrs? Insane. It can improve with the food being more flavored; Mexican culture style.

Went here as we love the food at Taqueria de San Jose but the restaurant itself is a bit run down. This place I believe is associated with it but with a much nicer building and decor. They have a full bar and really nice seating with plenty of TVs. Our waitress was excellent. But what matters is the food and it's really good. They also have just about any Mexican food you could want with their extensive menu. Everything we had was delicious and I can't really complain about anything about this excellent restaurant. We will definitely be back!!

Great place for some giant margaritas and classic Mexican food. The Mexican style asada tacos were delicious and the complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. Very lively ambiance and great service.

I've been to the other San Jose Taqueria and I liked it, so I was curious to try this new location. They took over the space that had once been a Red Lobster and then another restaurant after that, so the place is huge.I was looking for a combination of different things, but all their combinations were for things that were basically the same -- 1 or 2 tacos and a burrito, or a taco and a quesadilla, etc. I wanted two or three things that were a bit different. (Of course, truth be told, it's all basically the same...)When I sat down, they gave me a basket of chips & salsa. They were nothing special -- just store bought, out of the bag chips. I did like that the salsa was mild, although I can see how others might not like it.Since they didn't have the kind of combo I was looking for, I got the San Jose fajitas, which is chicken, steak and shrimp, although I had them leave off the shrimp. The platter of meat was huge. But, the tortillas were small, as was the plate of rice, beans, tomatoes and lettuce. It was tasty, though.I do have a couple complaints: First, it was cold in the restaurant. I ended up having to wear my jacket while I ate. Second, the music was WAY too loud. And third, and most annoyingly, they added a service charge to the bill. I assume it was for using a credit card. I understand that times are hard now, but I work for a non-profit, and we have never even considered charging donors for using credit cards, so I don't understand why for-profit businesses do this. Once upon a time, there was a concept called "the cost of doing business", which meant the business ate a little of the price of things in order to gain more business -- just like how Costco keeps its chickens under $5 even though they lose money on every one they sell. It gets people in the door so they buy more.

The food was very good. Had the birria quesadilla and birria soup. So good and right amount of spice. Margarita was a little different it spot on. The green salsa has a better spice but the red is good. Definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The inside is very inviting. Love the decor, all the televisions playing different sports. The staff were very friendly. The menu had a variety of food selections as did the drink menu. I ordered a chicken tamale al la cart, and. Chicken taco salad. The tamale came with sour cream and pico de gallo . The tamale was hard like a rock. Flavorful just really hard. The taco salad was ok. It seemed like something was missing. The chips and salsa were the start of the show . We also pretty the Jalisco . My husband loved it .
