What a wonderful place to have a meal. As soon as I walk in I was greeted. very clean, the music was not to loud and the menu has plenty of options. They have a good amount of tvs and bar area is very inviting. My waitress Isabella was amazing! Her smile is like a sparkle! Our food was hot and fresh, and even the cook came out and ask if I was pleased which I was. They even thank me for coming in. Everyone is super nice!I will definetly be back many many times in the near future.

Other than getting a table immediately upon arrival. There is nothing here to make me come back, the same as my first time here. Everyone deserves a second chance, just not a third.Service was ok at best and same wiyh the food.

I came here with my family (a group of 8) on Cinco de Mayo, and we were able to walk in and be seated right away. I was surprised at how quickly we had a seat considering the size of our group!We were served baskets of chips and salsa right away, and took some time to look over the menu. For my meal, I went with the shrimp taco dinner. It was very flavorful, and the portion sizes were great, especially for the price! Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, and the service was friendly.

Stopped in to visit with my wife with family. Fairly empty. We sat on the patio. We opened with their complementary salsa and chips. Thought the salsa was a little on the mild side so I asked for their spicy salsa. The chips were OK. We just added a little bit of salt. Their beverages were really good! My wife and I both had one of their top shelf margaritas, delicious! we were there for happy hour special so my wife tried their taco plate while I enjoyed their chicken quesadilla. We thought the food was extremely good! Our waitress was top shelf professional. She even took a family pic! If we lived in the area, I'm sure we would visit often!

My recent visit to Lake Rock left much to be desired. Despite its inviting ambiance and stylish decor, the dining experience fell short. While the bar and interior were charming, the food was a letdown. While my chicken wings and Caesar salad were passable, my wife's French dip tasted off, like spoiled meat. Even worse, my daughter's chicken tortilla soup was downright unpleasant, with a strange mildew-like taste.To make matters worse, we were disappointed to find cleanliness issues in the restroom, including used feminine products left on the floor. Though the staff tried to make amends with free dessert, we opted to leave without indulging.Overall, Lake Rock has potential, but it needs significant improvements in food quality and cleanliness to truly shine.

Visited Lake Rock last week for their grand opening. They have a beautiful remodel of the restaurant with fantastic food and drink choices! My mom and I split the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and it was a great choice!

Stopped here with my family the day before Thanksgiving. The atmosphere is pretty cool. There's some pretty cool lights around the bar area. The place had a more modern, but vibe. The service was really good and very attentive. I had the BBQ pulled pork with onion strings, which was so good! The BBQ sauce was a bit sweet, but it worked nicely with the spicy onion strings. The sandwich came with homemade kettle chips, which was also good. Good portion size. Overall, we had a really good experience! I would love to come back in the summer and sit outside.

This place is all about the food. It has the best Mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico. No paying me to say this. It's the best Mexican food I've ever had and beyond anything in Lake Orion, though, that really goes without saying. Everything on the menu we've had is fantastic, the flavors, the food quality, the quantities (excessive quantities but most folks love that). The place has been open for over a year now and doesn't seem to ever get crowded, and I assume that's driven by their being on Lapeer Road just south of Heights Road as opposed to in town where everything is located. If you want to wait forever for a table and very mid grade Mexican go in town to Sagebrush. If you want phenomenal food and good margaritas Lake Rock is just wow.

The food was fresh and delicious.Great daily specials. The service was excellent. I will definitely return.

I really expected more. The way a few people talked about this place, I had high hopes. The good - margaritas were good. We got ours on the rocks, no salt, regular margarita. It was good, and during happy hour, so the price was right!The other good is the updated interior. I've seen numerous restaurants come and go at this location, and most barely did anything to the interior. This looks fresh, clean, contemporary. The service was good, the server was pleasant and efficient. Food was served very quickly. The not so good was the food. I had the carne asada, and it was so salty that I wanted to send it back but didn't. Sodium overload! And I like salt and usually add it to my meals! But my husband's meal was also way too salty. We literally drank so much water the rest of the night. And the tortilla chips were super greasy. Salsa was good, but I'd sure love an offering of a spicier variety. The "fusion" part is unknown. The menu showed a couple of standard American items (hamburgers, chicken tenders, etc), but that didn't seem like a fusion. I expected more unusual fare, not food I'd find at nearly every other American or pseudo Mexican restaurant. Just standard offerings. Either we had a bad cook that night, or the food just really is mediocre at best.
