Samurai Steakhouse

This is my new dumpling, California roll, steak place, awesome place!!!The atmosphere is great, the hostess is personable, friendly and attentive. The seating is good, parking is the only setback when it's packed. The lunch and dinner samurai bento is my go to at this place. Stop by and give it a try, maybe you'll have lunch with me.

I am not from this area nor am I familiar with it but I happened to stumble upon this place by accident. I decided to give it a try and I was actually amazed at how good it was. This place was very clean and well kept up. Staff was very nice and welcoming. He got to the sushi menu and I was impressed by some of their own sushi that they make there. The sushi tasted very fresh and the other dishes that we had tasted great also. If you happen to have two or more people with you I suggest the sushi boat and The hibachi.

My daughter and I are regulars here, and we've yet to have anything less than a wonderful experience. The staff are amazing! Super friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious and almost as pleasing to look at as it is to eat. We always get salmon sashimi, my daughter gets the mango tuna roll, and I get the monster roll. Almost always followed by tempura cheesecake. Try their monthly specials... they're always amazing!

I went there for the first time and had a pleasant experience. Upon entry, the place is well lit, clean, and innovative. I ordered the Dragon Sushi which was pretty good. I also had the habachi steak (tender and flavorful) and shrimp and had them add chicken to it. The noodles were ok. Not something I have to have again. Instead of regular white rice, I got the shrimp fried rice with garlic butter. Soooooo good! All were good. The wait staff was very friendly. Even though they don't have their liquor license yet, the drinks they have are refreshing. I had the lemonade. My sister had a Mountain Dew (just the right amount of carbonation). ALL GOOD. I'm definitely going back and will try some other stuff. If this restaurant keeps this energy up, it will go far! Thumbs up!

First things first- this is NOT a traditional hibachi. There is no chef cooking on a table in front of you the food is prepared in the back. The filet was good and so was the rice and chicken. The noodles we gross spaghetti noodles. The wrong texture entirely. The bubble tea was gross- Tapioca bubbles were grossly soft and mushy. There is a huge bar but no alcohol. Waitress has a hard time completing orders. The place seems out of sorts.

Very disappointed. This place has been open for a few months now, we couldn't wait to try it. My husband and I split an overpriced hibachi plate, thinking the high cost meant a larger amount since we realized once we were seated that there wasn't going to be a true hibachi experience. A few cubes of cold steak and seafood and a large portion of spaghetti noodles is what we received. I guess we 'upgraded' to chicken fried rice which we were unknowingly charged for. No liquor license yet, which wasn't a huge deal but would've been nice to have known this beforehand. Rating 2 stars because the sushi was decent and the waitress was still very pleasant given the circumstances.

Extremely overpriced compared to the competition. Steak came out in little cubes, noodles basic, fried rice was tasty but over saturated. No hibachi experience, and the overall atmosphere feels like the place just isn't done being put together. 2 stars because the service was good.

Presentation was lovely. Server didn't give us silverware or napkins, so we had to grab some from another table that was not being occupied. The vegetables for the entree looked and tasted like someone just sautéed a bag of frozen veggies. I was not pleased with this considering the price of the meal. The filet was at least cooked to my request, and the fried rice was not drowning in soy sauce like some other hibachi restaurants. You don't get as much food as I think you should for the price of the meal. Not my favorite hibachi food, would only go here again if I was in the area.

Like most other reviews said.. over priced not a real hibachi place sushi was inedible with rotted avocado. Save your money and head to wasabi in novi for good hibachi and sushi house for excellent sushi

Absolutely delicious! I feel as though it is better than Benihana. I tell everyone I know about this place!
