Sahara Restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The food was really good, though not quite mind-blowing. I tried the trio platter (chicken chop, steak chop, and potato chop), and while everything was tasty, the potato chop was the clear standout--soooo good. They also kick things off with a complimentary basket of bread and pickled veggies, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is gorgeous, there's a full bar, and they even have a banquet hall for when you need to throw a big party. But let's talk pricing because... yikes. A 5 oz pour of Apothic Red for $12? That's more than the cost of the whole bottle at the store. And the entrées? Expect to drop $28 for a dish of protein and rice. Delicious, yes. Wallet-friendly, not so much.Overall, Sahara delivers on taste and atmosphere, but the prices might have you side-eyeing your bill.

The food and service can be a hit or miss here, but when it's good, it's GOOD. I will say they usually do a great job with large parties. Last night we had a late night meal there and it was fantastic. The hot bread and turshee (pickled veggies) are always a delight and we also ordered Laban (garlicky yogurt dip) and adis (lentil soup) which were great with the hot bread. We shared the lemon chicken cream chop which was a very generous portion and it was fresh and fantastic

I've never seen potato chop vegetarian so I was very pleased by that. All the food was very good and fresh. Big portion sizes and lots of different things to snack on like rice, stews, bread and pickled cabbage.

Well the food is good but the waiter was rushing me on the phone, calling me bro and stuff. Asking me after every meal is that it? Is that it? Is that it bro? Wtf? Then I was running late so they decided to eat the food instead of calling me and asking where I was. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes when I got there. I was working and couldn't leave. The price is way, way too high. I willnt be going back. Next time just tell me what you want to eat and I'll order it then won't show up "bro!"

My father Tony has been a loyal friend and customer to this specific restaurant. Us Stokes will forever love it here. Just came to pick up a dinner for 4 and some and EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL. AS ALWAYS. We have moved slightly closer to this location but even when we were living an hour+ away we still made it here and dined in as a big family. All of the flavors will stand out and everything tastes so good together. There is no other Sahara like this one. All organic ingredients, talented cooks and loving people. Inside of the restaurant is so beautiful. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. Looks like hand carved walls with gold lining. WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE AND THOES WHO HAVE NEVER TRIED IT ARE MISSING OUT.

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this spot before. We have been here a few times for lunch. Today we met for a last minute lunch to spend a bit of time together and kill some downtime. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It was really slow for lunch time which surprised me. Our waitress was fabulous. She was quick to assist us and didn't rush us out. We split a fatoosh salad which was plenty for two people. The beat dressing was amazing and there was plenty of topping. I love Mediterranean food so my mouth was happy. The waitress let us sit and chat without rushing us out which was a definite plus. We will be back for sure!

It's so cold inside here. I am so glad I wore a trench coat. My fingers have turned purple under my nails after being here for 20 minutes. It would probably feel good if it was 90 or 100 outside. It's 73 outside. It's taking a while to order my food. My waitress was busy with a large table. She gave me the index finger to let me know she would be with me. Another waiter waited on me instead. I ordered a chicken kafta dinner, stir fried chicken (gallaba), medium hummus. $3 additional charge to substitute a Greek salad or any another salad instead of the house salad with the chicken kafta dinner, really? That's crazy. I got an upgrade of a medium house salad for $3 instead. I ordered a chicken gallaba to go as well. The waiter noticed I was looking up at the vents and asked if I wanted to move one booth over. I did and it's about 20 degrees warmer one both over. The pita pockets are small, but the outside has a nice crunchy crust. The inside is soft and billowy and has a nice air pocket to it too. The pita itself doesn't have a ton of flavor. The hummus is delicately smooth, creamy. The house salad is iceberg lettuce, not my favorite. It comes with a creamy dressing. I asked for it with the Fattoush dressing instead. My pet peeve is finding a salad butt in my salad bowl. The Fattoush dressing is good. The chicken kafta is out, but no garlic sauce as promised, yet. I had to ask the bus boy, he would tell my waiter. The chicken kafta meat is good, not too dry and has decent flavor too.Their garlic sauce isn't super smooth, still tastes good anyways. The veggies aren't grilled, as I was expecting, they are steamed and water logged. I should have asked what the veggies are, as I am not fond of steamed water logged cauliflower much or broccoli either. The complimentary cabbage and pickles are decent. The chicken gallaba is definitely more like a stir fry and less tomato saucy gallaba like. It's okay. The waiter is nice and attentive.
