S&J’s CupCakery

I did not realize this was the same place I have been going to when they had their food trailer at the locate fairs. Service here was great the owner very nice and helpful. Even though my family and I came in last minute. One minute before close to be exact, you know a lot of places would be rude about it but I' didn't feel rushed and he was very polite and friendly and super grateful for our service and patronizing his business. I felt welcomed.The outside looks like a house. It's very cozy and clean inside The Christmas cookies are so good better than some bakeries in the area. I haven't tried the tin cakes yet but I'm pretty sure it's going to be delicious. I have had the cupcakes in the past they were moist and flavorful.I recommend this bakery to anyone needed a bakery to provide their desserts. Check them out if ever in the downriver area.

My boyfriend and I recently visited this adorable little shop. We've lived nearby for a year now but never knew it was there since you can't see it from the main road but it is a hidden gem! We were greeted warmly when we stepped in and she was SO patient while I tried to figure out what I wanted - There were quite a few selections to choose from and I'm a very indecisive person lol I ended up choosing a Raspberry lemon while my boyfriend that generally does NOT have a sweet tooth; chose THREE! I'm the end I also took a bite from his cheesecake cupcake and that was very creamy and delicious. My own raspberry lemon was perfect and had a little lemon bar on top with a raspberry drizzle. My boyfriend did enjoy his cupcakes , I think his favorite was the cheesecake. We will definitely drop in more often now we know about it!

The cupcakes are appealing to the eye and the tastebuds! Everything is really fresh, handmade by the owner, and reasonably priced. The Bumpy cupcake is divine. But my favorite offering is the humble but delicious banana pudding. It'll knock your socks off!

Nice little place to come in for a quick pick me up! Friendly service! Cupcakes, cookies, cakes and brownies avail. They also do custom items.

Heard about this bakery from daughter-in-law and wanted to sample their sugar free cupcakes. They were delicious. The owner/baker was very nice and informative. He stated that he changes his options weekly and was very friendly. Will look forward to other visits.

RUDEST owner I've ever encountered in my life. He basically begged us not to do business with him. "I require a mask in my business." We put our masks on. "Over your nose!" We put them over our noses. "I'm a diabetic and I can't afford to get sick." I say nothing and just keep perusing the bakery items. "I don't appreciate you rolling your eyes and I don't have to sell you my products." That'll do it. I typically leave the moment a business tells me I have to wear a facemask. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Not once, but 3 times. Focus on doing some research about the efficacy (and dangers) of facemasks, and the lies surrounding "covid", instead of focusing on badgering your customers. But, like controlling diabetes, that may just be too much effort.
