Royale with Cheese

Visited Royale with Cheese with my family for a late lunch. We ordered the Southwest Royale Wrap, Kruncher Burger, Vincent Vega (a classic fried chicken sandwich), and the Mushroom Onion Swiss Burger with Cajun fries. The halal meat was incredibly fresh and juicy, and the sauces, cheese, and fresh ingredients paired perfectly with it. The wrap featured crisp, fresh veggies and was probably the healthiest option of the bunch. The fries were made from real potatoes, crunchy, and lightly salted (the herb fries were especially delicious). The restaurant has a cozy diner vibe with plenty of tables, making it a great spot for families. Can't wait to visit again soon!

With a name like "Royale with Cheese" comes an expectation of 'Pulp Fiction' in the mix and Royale with Cheese does not disappoint. Counter service ordering but table side food delivery was very good. Ambiance was very cool. The menu and some art in the dining room absolutely represent 'Pulp Fiction' and I was expecting it and glad to see it! HAVANA BREAKFAST FEEL BURGER Beef Patty, Turkey Bacon, Fried Egg, Fries, Cheese Fondue, Chipotle Ketchup, Royale Sauce. I chose the Salt & Pepper fries and a fountain drink (lemonade), and a "Vincent approved" Vanilla Bean Shake to finish it all off right. Great job, Royale with Cheese staff!

We need a quick bite and Royale was close and to be cheesy, I like the theme. We walked in and the cook was at the door- he then held the door for us an hopped behind the counter. I was a little weirded out by this but honestly, the food totally made up for my reservations. I had a cheeseburger and garlic parm fries with a shake. The burger hit the table and looked like it was liquid cheese (like beer cheese) and it was DELICIOUS!!! The garlic parm fries were alright. Would have been a little better if the garlic parm sauce was more liquid and distributed evenly like on garlic parm wings. But I liked the wedges direction. The shake- went with cinammon toast crunch. it's my favorite cereal and have never had that as a shake flavor. It was good. My kids loved it. The murals on the walls as an ode to Pulp Fiction not the best executed but I like the vision and I love a theme.Why not 5 stars? Just need to class the place up a little like don't keep a mop bucket next to the entrance, the condiment station should be stocked and kept clean. Small things that make patrons feel better about establishments.

Great spot for a burger and fries! I love the nacho cheese raviolis! All of their cheese/ sauces are so yummy and creative. Great atmosphere for a laid back atmosphere! The soup with the grilled cheese is amazing as well.

I love the unique bite offerings here. Fast food counter service. Enjoyed the artwork. Had offerings had "drunk hangover food" vibes written all over the menu. Fried mac and cheese, cheese fondue, and royale sauce. Excellent flavor. Enjoyed the textures. Nacho cheese ravioli (Deep fried Doritos ravioli filled with jalapeno nacho cheese and roasted tomato sauce). This was fun but just tasted like frozen foods mixed together. Solid value for its size.

This burger place is near my apartment so I had to try it. It had a good variety of burgers on the menu. The burgers are not bad and the fries are ok. The nice thing is you can pick a seasoning for the fries, I always get the Parmesan garlic seasoning. The parking is the difficult part, you need to street park. There is plenty of seating.

Loved the porch area of this restaurant. So relaxing! We didn't actually get a burger. Instead - the special - cheesesteak. And tater tots. Both were very good. Great quick meal in Detroit.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I had high expectations with a place called Royale with Cheese and this place did not disappoint. From the menu, to the fact that they were halal to the staff - hands down 5 stars!They had a great burger offering as well as healthier options for anyone interested. I ordered the Beirut burger with BBQ flavored fries and a fruity pebble shake. My daughter got the kids chicken meal and everything was phenomenal. I was wowed by the flavor and cannot wait to go back!I highly recommend the homemade flavored fries and their shakes. Everything was top notch!

Awesome Pulp Fiction Theme burger joint. Great burgers. Crazy tasty fries hand done and tossed in Garlic Parm. Also the fried Ravioli app is just next level. I think about that Ravioli often

WOW, I've had Royale with Cheese bookmarked since coming back to Detroit in Aug '23. So happy I finally ordered! It was all very tasty, delicious meal of Garlic herb parm fries with Kruncher Burger! While Vanilla milkshake in freezer, chillin :) Salty, as expected with great flavors, nice jalapeños for spice. Fries so good, saving most for another meal. Heat up in air fryer tomorrow, I hope I can wait! If you're ready to go off your diet (norm I choose healthier, organic choices 80-90%/wk), this could be worth it for you too!
