I highly recommend Royal Oak Roast.The menu is filled with great options. There is plenty there to satisfy everyone. Whether you are merely there for a coffee drink/tea to go or you'd like to sit down and enjoy something a little more filling, it's a great spot.It's in a convenient location, right off the expressway by the zoo adjacent to The Griffin apartment complex.The parking lot is on the small side, but there were plenty available spaces for a slow mid-day.The esthetic is cute. I enjoyed the neon light displays.I sat and enjoyed my banana bread french toast and iced tea, while the other patrons worked on their laptops and otherwise enjoyed their day.My dish was a real treat. The banana bread was topped with a caramel sauce, fresh bananas and pecans. It was served with syrup, which I did use because the french toppings were enough sweetness for me. I had enough to be satisfied and also take some home.My bill was just about $20 with tip.The staff was friendly and hospitable.

While I love their Kuppa Joy, I seem to find that royal oak roast is very hit or miss. The first time I came here with my husband we got a breakfast burrito and breakfast crunchwrap and I can whole heartedly say they were the most bland breakfast items I have ever had, absolutely no seasoning whatever. So we stopped getting the breakfast sandwiches and moved onto muffins. Their blueberry one is delicious, their carrot cake one - not so much. As for the drinks, I always order the same thing a hot kuppa joy, with vanilla syrup. It comes out tasting different every single time. I even ordered it iced a few times too and it was very different colors both times. My husband usually sticks with the cold brew, and they sometimes forget his sweet cream cold foam (which isn't a cheap add on), his milk, or flavoring. It is always super busy in here, I just wish they were a little more consistent. Probably won't stop me from coming back though!

After often visiting Birmingham Roast, I was excited to try the Royal Oak branch. I love how spacious this location is! It's a great space for meetings, hangouts, or getting work done. I love their coffee as well as their food items - the chicken sandwich is great! The baristas here are super friendly as well.

Super cute cafe right off the highway! The coffee that I got was mid, not my favorite, but not horrible either. The frittata I got was better than I thought; I thought it was fresh but it came right out of the display and then microwaved, but the taste was good. We sat outside and it was nice to have that option. We had a worker bring us the food while we were outside. Overall it was a cute cafe!

Stop what you're doing and get to Royal Oak Roast. This was one of the best breakfasts that I've had in a long time. I've heard so much on social media about the brunchwrap, so I had to try it. Wow! All of the flavors with a little hot sauce on the side - I'll be dreaming about this for awhile. The breakfast 1 is a bagel sandwich with eggs, bacon, and spinach. All around classic. Top it all off with an iced vanilla latte!

I ordered a berry salad with chicken and a chai tea. The berry salad was ok but I probably wouldn't order again; it was pretty dry/needed more dressing and not enough goat cheese & was a little expensive with the chicken. The chai tea was also just ok.There is a nice outdoor seating area and ample parking. The shop is also very cute inside and it seemed like a lot of people were working in there. Service was somewhere in the middle too.

TLDR : great coffee, great vibes, immaculate energy. If you have not tried out, Royal Oak roast, I highly suggested it. My personal favorite is the hot golden joy with oat !! The consistency of Royal Oak roast is something to be admired.The service is spot on and insanely fast. Let me just say everyone there, every Sunday, will always approach you with a smile, and do whatever they can so that you leave in a better mood than when you came in. They always go above and beyond , and answer any questions that you may have of any of their drinks. The service in itself will make you want to come back again and again.The food in the facility caught me offguard the first time I had it. I stayed safe by going for the vegan almond butter bar for quite a while until I finally mustard up the courage to try their food menu. Let me just say do not overlook the brunch menu, because if you do, you will be sorely mistaken. The menu is filled with many items from waffles to confectionery goods all the way to brunch items that I guarantee Will make you happy to have eaten it. Another thing I've noticed, was, if an item is delivered to the customer, no matter how big or small the ask may be, the facility will quickly take the item back, remake it, and have it in your hands quick. The overall environment of the café is elegant, but also cozy. It's a great place to have a meeting, do some studying or some work, or even just show up and lounge around with a good book. I wish I knew of this facility when I was still in college.

Came for a quick breakfast bite and ordered their wrap and it was like a high end crunchy wrap from Taco Bell. That's not a bad thing I SWEAR. It was delicious. It was easy to eat and didn't make a mess. Their caramel latte was to die for as well. There are a few work from "home " tables and the staff were very nice and bubbly.

One word - Delicious! I love coming here not only because the staff is wonderful and kind but the vibe is great and the food is AMAZING! Over the past week, I went back 3x just for the Berry Salad. Every ingredient is fresh. From the sweet raspberries to the homemade balsamic dressing. I HIGHLY recommend checking this cafe out if you're in the area. Plenty of parking on the exterior and comfy seats on the inside make this a go-to spot for having coffee with your friends, a first date, or social work meeting. I love this place!! I'll be back.
