Not a fan of inconsistency, next time I'll wait for the female waitstaff because the guys didn't know what was going on. Food was good even tho' it wasn't what I wanted. I guess I'll have to find another location that does serve a waffle breakfast. The place almost looked like they were going out of business, could have been the time I arrived.

I usually order and visit this place often. I love it they are super friendly and my food is always hot and exactly how I want it. I ordered the French toast breakfast and I got scrambled eggs with it. Sausage as well . Check them Out if your ever in Detroit

whew... where do I start? How about I was at a family gathering that got late. Somehow I ended up with bae at this fine establishment and searching the menu to figure out what would satisfy my over indulgent red cup munchies. I asked bae to grab some fried mushrooms and a turkey bacon blt - he came back with ..... fried mushrooms and a turkey bacon blt. No pictures - I killt it!

First and foremost the dining area closes at 2. What in the entire hell? Like how is this 24 hours and the dining area is only open for a certain period of time? Cool, I sat at the counter since there's seats. Now when they say the dining area is closed, they don't even ask you if you want anything while you sitting there. So when they say the dining area is closed, they mean no service at all beyond carry out. They girls shift was over at 3 and they definitely walked out at 3. No one else came in until 10 min later. The funniest thing about it is the cook just back there looking lost. Customers are coming in and out and no one is here! We left. It was a bit much for me coming all the way from Rochester hills

Loved, loved, loved the food, service and prices! The food was amazing! Good ol' down home cooking and large servings! I had fried chicken and French toast (subbed for the waffle). Yummy! We had at our table catfish, an omelette, coney dog, fries with bacon and cheese, and Big breakfast meal that included ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast! It was all good! There were 5 pages of menu choices'The service was fantastic. Our server was very nice. They don't serve cold tea so she offered to make me some hot tea and put ice in it. This was a nice gesture. The prices were unbelievable for all the food we got. The dishes were under $10!It is a little, old, diner kind of place, but well worth it. We stumbled upon it while traveling, but it will be a go to when we go back to Detroit!

All coney islands aren't the same.Royal Grill is a gem among the diner style restaurants in this area.The staff definitely adds to the experience. Everyone is always nice and orders are prepared quickly.My favorite thing to eat here are the breakfasts.On this trip, I ordered french toast with bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese.My meal was cooked as requested and was so good I may return tomorrow!As with most coney islands, the menu includes a variety of items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My only challenge frequenting this restaurant is the parking. There is a parking lot, but it always seems to be fairly full. Tip: call ahead
