when we first got here this place looked really cool, we sat outdoors which was nice and quiet, barely anyone here really, I have to clear up a confusion, Yelp says this place closes at 8pm, it does not, they close at 9pm, so you got an extra hour folks. Your welcome. We ordered drinks, I had a Killians and she had a mixed drink called "Long Erie Island" which was very boozy. We were recommended the Special Platter for 2 by a friend of the family so we decided to order it. It comes with 3 sides of your choice (which by the way I recommend you get your own Mac N Cheese cause you won't stop eating it & you won't share it either), Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, St Louis Ribs, 1/2 BBQ Chicken, smoked sausage. This food was VERY delicious, everything was juicy, tender and just cooked to perfection, this place has great food, a great environment and a great staff. They also make their own BarBecue Sauce which is outstanding. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place and this food and I will DEFINITELY be coming back here soon.

It used to be really good, but since Covid something's happened & it is just not good anymore. It's really small inside & usually overfilled. The service is always rushed because of space. The food is just okay now. The meat is really tough & over cooked. It's just not the same & not worth it anymore.

Round House BBQ is somewhat of a head scratcher for me. I came in wanting some good ole' BBQ, but when I saw what I was getting into I was a bit skeptical. This place is not your typical BBQ joint and has an atmosphere analogous to a classic chain restaurant such as Applebee's or Chili's (but with a BBQ spin). The biggest red flag for me was this large worn down menu with a lot of food options that seemed to overwhelm me. Usually when I see that in a restaurant it means that the quality of the food is not very good or focused. It also took me a little while to get my order in as my server wasn't alerted of my presence so I waited a few minutes to even get my drink. First impressions aside I played it safe with some smoked wings (naked) and a house salad with brisket as I felt this would give me a good idea of the type of food they offered. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the way they prepare wings and the freshness of their raw vegetables. In all honesty, the wings were almost perfect. Golden crispy on the outside, while warm and tender on the inside. They also did have a mild smokey flavor to them which paired perfectly with their 5 BBQ sauces that I enjoyed all around. The salad was generous in its portion size and I absolutely love their Thousand Island and Ranch dressing which probably weren't made in-house but still great with pretty much anything. I am not a fan of white onions for salads and much prefer red onions, but if they sliced it better I would have forgiven it. The brisket was a little dry, but if I ordered this salad without the wings I would have been more than satisfied with my meal. If you know what you're getting into and don't have high expectations this is a good place to eat. There are however way better BBQ options in metro Detroit for sure. I wanted to give this place a 3.5/5 if I could, but I'll be generous and round it up to 4.

Stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago. Nice little place. And it is round. Sam was our server and she did a great job. We started with the pretzel sticks. 3 large pretzels with a nice serving of house made cheese sauce. They were okay, nothing special. Also ordered a cup of beef brisket barley soup, a mushroom swiss melt sandwich, and the loaded baked potato boats with pulled pork. The soup was fantastic. Brisket was very tender and the veggies were not mushy. The sandwich was very good and a pretty decent size. The potato boats were also good. The tater part was a little dry but with the cheese, bacon, and sour cream added it was a pretty tasty dish. I did not even think about adding any sauce to it as I forgot so I cannot comment on them. Overall a good meal but it was along drive so I can say if you are in the area, give this place try.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. The staff is phenomenal, down to earth just all around friendly and kind people. The food is a hit or miss. The sauces they offer is delicious! The ambiance is your common bbq joint. I have been here 3x..I will stick with the bbq wings though.

It's the closest BBQ place to us and we really like it. Even for non bbq menu options the food I've had there is delicious! I just had the Turkey Reuben but we usually get a larger sampler style meal with our three boys. The service is always good and the staff is friendly. It's a laid back environment so don't worry about dress code.They also have cool mini rooms outdoors (think modern mini cabin) for small parties and special events.

Ordered wings to go. Opened when we got home they were burnt. Literally black! Unedible and dry as hell. No way whoever boxed them up didn't realize it. Completely disappointed.

I was at the bar last night and I witnessed the manager/owner scream and belittle the bartender while I was waiting for a beer. I thought it was very unprofessional of the owner to speak to the bartender that way in front of everyone. I will not be coming back.
