Worst bar experience to date. In the neighborhood after a long day at work, decided to grab a drink. As soon as I approached the entrance to the door, the very large security guy yells "ID" without even a hello or good evening. I was startled. I'm a ladylike female and it's almost like he was trying to intimidate me. I showed him my ID and tried to make light of it and smiled and said it was nice to be carded. Didn't help. Then he said "purse" I suppose he needed to check. He rambled thru my things and finally I was allowed in. Mind you, I was trying to wind down so I made the best if it. Sat down to order a popular brand of Scotch and she asked me " is that in a green bottle? I mean sheeshhh, know your spirits please. She's rude to me as well. The drink was terrible! Soda with a drop of scotch. Then as I pay I'm asked for my ID again with my credit card. There were very few people in the bar and I don't quite understand why they harassed the few that were. The guests were arguing, the place smells like smoke and everyone is rude to the guests! No wonder it was so empty. I will NEVER GO BACK!

This was my first time at an actual bar. I liked it the food it didn't pick up until 10:30-11pm. There was more men than women of course but I liked the $2 drinks for ladies (spent a lot but not too much and still got drunk). One thing though the food was pricey but I order the grilled shrimp which was bloody awesome ended up ordering 3 by the time the night was over.

A straight up hole in a wall bar. They did have $2 dollar drink specials for women. Beside that, the drinks were small and expensive. The music was good, although it came from a jukebox (rap/hip hop) and the kitchen stays open until 1:30 (although i did not eat anything from here, so i can't really speak on it) and they do have a back pool room. I mean it was OK, nothing special and i can probably do with out.

They have $2 dollar drink specials for women. the drinks were small and expensive for men. Breakfast was a good drink. The music was good, although it came from a jukebox (rap/hip hop) and the kitchen stays open until 1:00am. to me its a rat bar, but for the locals who are into that type of thing. They smoke all types of stuff in here although we know you can't do stuff like that in Detroit bars. I was here for about a hour it was st. Patricks day and I was visiting my city.

This ghetto ass bar. The security Andre told me I couldn't come in because I had a passport. What a joke. I told him my purse was stolen with my ID in it. He still refused to let me in saying "if I have a passport I have an ID" I guess he didn't know you need a birth certificate to get a passport not ID. The eastside would never!!

Wow were should I start the experience was absolutely terrible. Went in for an after work drink on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. There was only about 7 people in the entire bar and the service still was horrible. We sat for well over 20 mins at the bar without receiving any service. The bartender was rude and dismissive to anyone she did not personally know or those who weren't considered regulars. She yelled the the doordash person because he didn't know the process. She told him and I quote "you saw me walking my big ass to the kitchen you should have said something, and I'm on my period"! Definitely TMI! We finally asked could we order and she rudely said I said in a minute although she had never even acknowledged us. She then proceeded to make drinks for a "regular"who had just walked in and never even spoke to her so unless he sent a text message or she had telekinesis there was no way that she ever got an order from him. She put his drink in a nonalcoholic cup which makes me assume thats she likely was stealing inventory and wasn't going to charge him. The entire time she kept saying this is going to be a long night and that she needed to smoke before she slapped somebody. We still patiently waited thinking maybe she's coming over here next and honestly just could not believe here behavior. By this time we were intrigued with exactly how long she would continue to ignore us. Here's the kicker she looked at us turned her entire back to us and proceeded to grab a chicken wing out of a patron plate and eat it! At this point me and my wife got up. This establishment has been around for years as a nice neighborhood bar however with a rude, stealing bartender they won't last much longer. I really hope the owner sees this review and does something to help employees develop better customer service skills and professionalism.

We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised as a whole with this gem of an old school neighborhood bar. Random good deals on drinks and a friendly, helpful staff make this spot worth a visit. The touchscreen jukebox ($1 per tune) is decent--helped by the fattest, clearest sound system I've heard in a bar **ever**. People were friendly right away and we were the only white folks there. Not going to lie about the menu... It's basic bar fare. The bartender raved to us about the Mexican fare, but it was nothing special. This really odd thing happened after our Nachos came out wrong. We specifically asked for no cheese and no sour cream, and it arrived with cheese. We were starving, so I hated to bring it up. But I'm lactose intolerant. When I brought it up to the bartender, she acted stunned and offended as if it were just my problem. Then she told me that the boss or cook or somebody makes the bar staff--both hard-working young women--pay for food mistakes **out of their own pockets** !!! Who the hell does this anywhere these days. So unprofessional! Sad for her, but shame on the management.
