Ron's Road House

Fried cheese was GREAT! Beers were super cold, burger was huge, and the sampler plate was perfect! Huge portions and homemade dressings. Our server was fantastic and the service was friendly and fast.

How can you pass up a 100 ? Year old place still in business? In a little rough shape. 2 pool tables. Only stopped in for a beverage and to see the place. Bar maid was great! A few locals talking tiger baseball! Turned down and offered menu - had other plans .

How often can you say you were in China, Michigan that is, it's worth the trip. Great place to grab a great meal and take in some karaoke. It's definitely a local hangout, which I love. Very causal and laid back atmosphere. The owner and the employees are great! Fish and chips are a must try! Wish it was closer to me, I would go more often.

Worst place ever. One bartender. That was the waitress. Too much for her. They forgot my meal. Thank goodness she took if off the bill lol

I visit Ron's on a weekly basis for a billiards/pool league, and end up eating almost every time. Their food is absolutely delicious. I didn't expect that the first time there, but I am always happy with my meals. Good prices, and best french fries in the area ;) The drinks are semi decent, and I wish they had a larger selection of bottled beer but overall, it's a place I return to time and time again.

Great food and karaoke on the weekends! Pool leagues during the winter also! A fun bar!

Last night I visited this establishment for the first time with some friends of mine, I am from out of state. I consistently hear about the fun of "Rons" through my friends and how karaoke nights there are the best. After my first experience I will NEVER return. I have never been more disgusted by the actions of FOH staff in my life, especially as someone who works in a very high volume bar in the city. What I was told, is the young man running karaoke was not the regular karaoke host. He was verbally assaulted, teased and down right disrespected all night long. Not one of his "coworkers" stepped in to end it, it almost seemed as if they joined in on the taunting. Customers were behind the bar laughing at him and joking in the fun, apparently off duty workers? The bartenders over ruled his "last call" for karaoke and allowed his "bullies" for lack of a better term, to continue to sing. The over serving was some of the worst I've ever seen and I am shocked this place hasn't been reported. I truly have the most rancid taste in my mouth about this bar even though I had such high hopes...

The food is amazing here, and the prices are great. I've never dined in, but the takeout for my lunch had been great food. I wish they opened earlier, but 11 is still good. Great atmosphere while waiting for my food....staff was friendly. I'll be back.
