Totally blown away the biggest best Greek Trio OMG , couldn't eat half.Greek TrioServed with pastitsio, moussaka and spinach pie. All perfection would feed two hungry folks easy. Our very first visit , outstanding service food and large clean restaurant. Place packed with happy diner's, we gotta go back really soon. She had Grilled Chicken with Fries spot on wonderful . The food is out of this world fresh and prepared perfectly. The coffee is very good. The staff are absolutely amazing and attentive. My coffee cup was never empty. The portions are huge. The side of sausage gravy comes in a boat!!This is our second time here and we will keep coming back to try all the awesome stuff on the menu. The booths are new and the place is very clean!!

The $5 breakfast special is hard to beat! - an amazing deal!Great, attentive service. Clean. Plenty of parking.

The menu has slightly changed since I have last been here. Wonder if there has been a change in ownership. No longer see the well dressed Greek man strolling the restaurant. The Greek Omelette I had was wonderful Filled with meat, green peppers, and onions. More importantly cooked to perfection. Prefer more French style omelette over the overly fried American omelettes. Rye toast is tasty too.

Friendly, all around good diner food, so far I've never been disappointed. My hubby and i go often to catch a quick bit to eat, their Ruben with slaw is amazing! Hubby gets sauerkraut. He's always happy with that. He's had their french dip very good. I've had their chef salad good. The staff friendly, just a good diner.. and it's right down the road Bonus!! I love their art work on windows. I don't know who does it but during the holidays they always put something, inviting to see!

On our last day in Detroit, we tried Rocky's Coney & Grill Family Dining based on a recommendation from our Uber driver. We ordered cheese sticks, the fish & chips and the hand-breaded "jumbo" fried shrimp. Needless to say, the fish & shrimp were inedible. The fish was slimy and tasteless, and the shrimp were hand-bread by Gorton's. We would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.

Stars are based on what would be expected of a typical family diner- not a fine dining experience. Great service, quick meal, hearty portions.Kiddo was pleased to learn that you could order anything, anytime (aka. Lunch for breakfast).Tip: if you order the feta & spinach omelet, maybe ask for half the spinach unless your name is Popeye.I thought the chicken noodle soup was quite tasty even though kiddo didn't save me any chicken.

Always a good experience, though they do charge a bit too much for takeout cabbage soup. It's great, but it's also the food of the poor. It shouldn't cost that much.

After comparing to other local family diners. The prices are too much. A corn beef sandwich with fries and drink is $17... While the same exact meal at the 3 other diners all within a 5 minute drive of rockys. Sells theirs for no more than $12 dollars. All the other menu items follow this pattern. Maybe the dinners are worth it but barely. Like always service is great.

Great service is the reason I love Rocky's Family Dining. I go for breakfast a couple times a week and have never had a bad experience. The food is tasty, the coffee is rich and the waitresses are friendly. The breakfast special is $5 Monday thru Friday between 6am and 11am. great price for eggs, hash browns, toast and meat of your choice. My lunch favorite is the Reuben and I must say it's so good. The menu is filled with all the comfort foods. Plenty of space for a small or large group to dine with your choice of tables or booths. The kitchen and restaurant and bathrooms are white glove clean. The parking lot is large and it's location makes it easy in and out. You can call in and have your order ready or have them deliver as well. Give them your business and your stomach will thank you.
