River-Q's Pastry Pantry

Stopped in and picked up some butter tarts and scones. The butter tarts were one of the best I've had! They're soft and buttery in the inside with a perfect crust. In some of them, the filling ran down the side to make a chewy, caramel texture that adds another layer of depth to the pastry. As for the scones, they're soft and at a perfect sweetness level. There's ribbons of icing that graces the top, and has hardened so that you get a little crunch as you're eating it. The store owner was very helpful and let us know that she makes pastry gift baskets and that they can ship anywhere to the US and even some international countries. I'll be sure to stop by again, as there's a wide variety of baked goods to try (pies, cookies, cake balls, tarts, and more) and everything is baked on site.

Hidden treasure in Trenton. Fantastic cookies, pies, cupcakes, brownies, etc. The staff is always extremely friendly and the treats are so darn good! You guys should seriously try this place out!

We had a wedding cake disaster with a "family friend" so we called River Qs and they made this cake happen immediately! Billie literally saved our day! And to top it off the cake was light and cloud like. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend River Qs!

Again, totally awesome! AND they have new wax scents!!! Lemon tart was amazing as well as no bake cookies. My husband came along this time, and of course we left with more than we planned on, which is totally OK!

Such a great place! The people that work here went out of their way to accommodate a last minute order. So absolutely friendly. Order a chocolate chip cheese cake and you will be coming back every birthday.

Most places have generic style kids cakes but they created exactly what I wanted for my kid! His 10th was phenomenal largely in part of the effort and amazing talent of everyone at River Q! hands down recommend this place for tasty treats!

Pretty new place in Trenton. Went there to purchase "Jack" face cookies for a Halloween theme baby shower for my daughter in law. Picked them up and they are so great!! Tasted one at the shop and they taste as good as they look. Thanks Billie Jean, best of luck with your shop.

I ordered some cake balls for a holiday party. Unfortunately, when guests bit into them, they were not cooked. It was like eating a ball of cookie dough. Needless to say, they all ended up in the garbage. I saved three and took them back to the bakery the next day. I spoke with the owner who did refund my money, but never apologized for the embarrassment or inconvenience. Never asked what she could do to make it right etc. She handed me the money and walked away. I will never go here again and ended up going to another bakery for additional holiday items. Don't waste your time or money here. They obviously don't care if their customers are happy or not.

This place is amazing. Stopped in for some cake balls and I was very impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly as well.
