Rick's Half Time Bar

Ok so I just moved back to the city of Taylor and thought I would try this bar out since it is right across the street. So when we first got in it was packed to the bone. When we sat down we didn't get served til about 10 mins into being there, then we ordered food. The waitress said that it was gonna be about 30 mins. Which is fine but the entire time we were there it took forever to get us another beer but the food took at least an hour and 15 mins, I understand it is packed but damn that took forever, I will say the food was awesome I had a triple bacon cheeseburger and it was very fulfilling. However, the staff was very slow and I really think they need to hire more waitresses and cooks because the wait time was longer than Olive Garden. They were friendly but next time I come here it will be for drinks only and I will sit at the bar so they can see me. Oh and the vibe here is very loud with alot of bearded people lol more of an older crowd though. If I could write 2 and a half stars I would have tho.

My 2 beers were around $14. Strong, large beers. Reasonable price. But our DD ordered an iced tea. No alcohol. Just a regular iced tea and his bill for the 1 drink was $7.50..seriously? That's crazy expensive for iced teas. 1 star for price gouging cause idk what else to call that. Other then that I'd say a much higher review but you can't do people like that and expect a reasonable review.

Been here many times and the service always depends on the number of people here. That may seem obvious but regulars get all the attention and new people be damaged. Today, the server missed my order of fries to accompany my burger and waited nearly ten minutes for another beer.

A very divey- but homey- experience. My family and I love the atmosphere and food at this bar. The hamburgers are cheap and filling, the beer is diverse and delicious, and the wait staff feels like family, with an interesting patronage of all shapes and sizes. I know I've made some wonderfully misanthropic memories at this bar, especially concerning a few impressionable patrons. Will keep on going to this Downriver jem.

Just a subpar bar. The 95¢ burgers taste like they cost 95¢ so not surprised there. They don't have anything on their food menu above $5, the food is so cheap and tastes like it. Tall bud light is $3.50 and a tall oberon was $6.50. The bar tenders were nice and very attentive. Don't expect them to follow covid restrictions though. They do not care about that at all!

This is a dive bar. It is definitely not family friendly as there are always drunken men in there playing pool and swearing like drunken sailors, including the owner Rick! The pool tables are right there where the tables are and the whole bar can hear these loudmouth, vial men. The service is poor at best. I waited almost an hour for a burger and fries and it wasn't that busy! If any bar needs a rescue from John Taffer it's this one! Avoid this low class mess at all costs!

It's not the same in there. Cooks and waitresses just seem like they don't want to work. Literally have money right in their face and they just walk right on by. Forget about keno. Oh yeah on st patty's day might want to have more than two people working. Wouldn't the owner or a manager want to be in their establishment on one of its busier days?

Very disappointed in the food and service this evening. This use to be our go to burger but the food and service as deteriorated. Im is that all bar have loud music but theirs is ridiculous, you can't even hear the bartender or waitress let alone have a conversation with the person next to you . Time to find our next Go to burger bar.

Imagine being "cash only" in 2023 and not mentioning it on the phone for carry out orders. Oh and a $4 ATM fee to top it off. Needless to say I left and they can keep the food.
