The atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between cozy and lively.Whether you're grabbing a meal with friends or just looking for a place with amazing food, Redcoat Tavern is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back!

Use to be my Neighborhood bar!I recall having an evening beer at WB Red Coat tavern after golf on a Thursday night watching the Lions beat the Chiefs. The bar was full and the restaurant was empty(1 family).Management came to the bar area and advised us we were cheering too loud for the Lions. He threatened to turn the game off or throw us out. There were at least 40 people in the bar. Now we no longer visit this bar especially on game days.

Okay, I have been back a couple of times since the previous update and will admit it is better again. Maybe they had staffing or management issues that were bringing them down for a while. Whatever the problem was, things seem to have improved significantly. The burgers and clam chowder have been consistently as great as they were before and the service is excellent. The atmosphere has not changed, but it is clean.Anyway, it does seem to have found its way again.

first time here - believe it or not! but i have been told numerous times of how amazing the burgers are - and they did not disappoint! side of onion rings is a must! so good. we ended our savory meal with the sweet gooey bread pudding. atmosphere is quaint and simple. a metro detroit stapled favorite for a reason!! our server seemed a bit preoccupied but helpful regardless

Hands down the best burgers in the city! Located on Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield with plenty of parking in an adjacent parking lot.Love that the seating options include table, patio or bar seating. And Ryan is our favorite bartender of all time. We don't eat here unless we know he's working. His sense of sarcastic humor always makes our night. The bar banter and big screen TVs make for a great atmosphere.The food is awesome. Burgers are always top tier and the seafood chowder with a hint of curry spice is to die for. I do also tried the fish and chips, the grilled fish sandwich and the chicken pot pie which were all winners. The next time you're craving a good burger, you should go here.

Great place for an upscale or casual classic burger joint! They have different types of protein for your burger to choose from They have been around along time, with their original location on Woodward in Royal Oak.The toppings for the burgers are second to none, the sides are fresh and made to order like fried mushrooms and onion rings. Fries are good and hot.I had the house salad with blue cheese and chicken and it was really good and gourmet, looks like it was prepared by a chef. My wife had a burger, she liked it so much she didn't even offer me a bite. The 6 of us shared a cookie sangwich sundae dessert.Atmosphere inside is clean and modern. Our service was great from our waiter , had no issues at all. Will definitely be back!

I've been coming here with my family for years. The food is always delicious and comes out hot. The servers are always checking in on you, but not too annoying where you can't enjoy your food. The place is never crazy busy so you can always get seated. It's dark inside if you don't like that, but they open the blinds so you can see inside. Love it here!

Service was Excellent.Fish and Chips I enjoyed.However, I believe our waiter stole my credit card number so I would use cash instead of credit at this establishment.

The best burgers! Orchard lake is our West Side Woodward and I am happy to have weekly girls night here yummy food and drinks.

First time here, usually go to one in Royal Oak. Server John very good.Had famous burgers.Ambiance dark, decor bar type,Manager - in suit checking in with guests (didnt check on us).Bathroom dark and doors need updated but not tiny. All in all glad to find this location.
