Is this a bit on the higher end for a burger? Yes.Will you be disappointed? Never!When we visited recently I said "I have never looked at their menu. I always just go for a burger.". The whole menu looks great, but I can't come here and not get a burger, 1/2 lb burger that I always cooked just right. The buns are fresh and the toppings are great. You can share onion rings, the portion is generous!

Friends suggested trying their burger here. The burger was fine, no complaint here. Though I don't quite understand the hype of the burger. Maybe the premium version would be better? Also, the burger doesn't come with fries, you need to order it separately.The service was the interesting part. The waitresses for our table were good. But the person greeting you at the door was not very nice. She was in a rush to seat me and did not want to listen to me while I tried to explain to her that I belonged to a big party of people and they already got the table.

Ownership, nepotism doesn't work with this one - grandma gave keys to Nicholas & sadly the rest falls flat like his ineptness of his knowledge all things business. Why would anyone put $ into the pocket of one who can't return a simple phone call? Love the platform of Yelp, it's not worth the wait, other businesses more accommodating, not to mention , gross booths never wiped down and utensils with spots Cheap Sadly like most business gone were the days of good times had at Red Coat

The service is amazing here!! Very friendly and attentive. Big shout out to Jon! I wish I loved the food. I've been here a few times and it's just okay. Maybe I'm not ordering the right things. The calamari is pretty good, but the peppers served with it are full of seeds so you have work to do to empty them if you don't want a mouth full of seeds. The fried pickles and onion rings are pretty decent too, but a lot more breading than I expected. The French onion soup is tasty. The clam chowder is good too.The Cobb Salad was pretty bland. I'm not sure why. Everything was fresh and tossed beautifully but it just lacked flavor. The homemade ranch dressing is very good. My mom enjoyed her burger so I'll have to order one next time. It's made to your preferred level of doneness and they have a special sauce.The decor is fun---very red and moody. I love the red leather booths, although a few are a bit torn.They have a parking lot. This is a popular place and they are always quite busy. I'll keep coming back to try more things.

This place has been a stable in my rotation for many years! I frequent their RO location as I'm closer to it, but I've also been to their WB location as well. If you're looking for a great burger, look no further! Their fries and onion rings are tasty too. Their menu has other offerings but I go there to get a delicious burger. They have a good beer list too which is nice. It's kitschy and old school in there which I like. Their prices seem to have gone up a lot recently, but everything has I suppose. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this place? Come here and get a burger and fries. It's got an old feel to it but remains the cutting edge for meat between two slices of bread. Great team running this institution.

You cant go wrong here! anything here is absolutely amazing! The portions are filling and hearty! Prices reflect what you get, and its worth it! Its a bit dark inside but gives it a nice touch!

I have to say that after all these years, I didn't realize Redcoat has yet to be reviewed. I have been here a handful of times in the past and recently paid it a visit with some good friends of mine. I don't believe I've been here since before Covid, so I was both excited and hesitant to try it again because you just never know if something you enjoyed previously will maintain the same standards you are used to. Well fellow foodies, I am pleased to report Redcoat is still an awesome restaurant. First of all I was shocked they were able to seat our party of 7 in less than 5 minutes on a Friday night, kudos to you guys! The atmosphere is so inviting and lively. Even though the bright red lightning can be a bit much, it gives the whole place its charm (hence the name of the establishment).The menu has all your bases covered, and pretty much everything is delicious. Besides the obvious burgers they are known for, they have great soups, salads, sandwiches, wings, and comforting entrees. While everyone else got the classic beef burgers, I went against the grain and ordered their special that evening which was the salmon burger. Admittedly I was famished by the time we had dinner here, but I have to say all the food I consumed was amazing. The seafood chowder was a great starter, and the batter on the onion rings is some of the best you will ever have. Surprisingly my friends and I even decided to stick around for some desserts which is not something we often do. We had chocolate pudding, creme brulee, bread pudding, and key lime pie (although I believe this one was frozen and didn't thaw properly). Overall a fantastic night out. Can't wait for our next outing here!

The Redcoat has a great reputation for delicious burgers and they did not disappoint on our recent visit celebrating our son's birthday. The burgers are amazing! Make sure you add the zip sauce to your burger for umami happiness! The onion rings are the best in town, so make sure you get those to go with your burger.

They are one of the best burger places around located on Woodward around the dream cruise. They have the best ground beef around. The blend is amazing as well as their pimento cheese. Something you definitely would want to go see.. The ambience is very warm and cozy and everybody's always checking on you to make sure you're OK great place.
