You all know I am not a fan of giving 5 Stars for much of anything. Mostly because I believe there is always room for improvement. Well, in the case of Red Velvet Cakes and Pastry I'd give it 10 stars if I could! I'm in a meeting and in between paying attention I'm Yelping what's for lunch. On the map I see Red Velvet and I a sucker for sweets. I look at pictures and how far it was away from my current location and boom, I Am GOING! We step in and it's a cozy place with two smiling faces. One takes our order and it was hard to choose as there are sooooooooo many delectable selections. I went with a Red Velvet and Vanilla Cupcake and a slice of triple chocolate cake. My wife got an eclair and a what she calls the most delicious bumpy cake. We pay and as im walking out I see they have German Chocolate Cake and I simply comment, "how did I miss the GCC??" The same lady that helped us said maybe next time, I said, yeah, that will be a while, we are from Ypsilanti. Without batting an eyelash, she packs me up a piece and says, enjoy. Everything and I mean everything was amazing. The cake was moist and flavorful, the cupcakes even with a small shot of cream in the middle (which I normally despise) was perfect! I have not have the triple chocolate yet, because I have to hit the gym first! All in All, I have two reasons to get back over to the Sterling Heights area, Red Velvet and another place I will review later! Great work Red Velvet Pastry, you have a new fan(s).

If I could give 10 stars I would. I called and asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and if I dropped off some dump trucks they could add little crushed Oreos to it and look like dirt. I was expecting for a pretty plain cake with some dump trucks and dirt and they exceeded expectations and did an amazing job. I didn't want to cut it and ruin it because it was so pretty. The flavor and consistency was also amazing. We will never go to another bakery again. Thank you so much for making my sons cake he loved it so much and so did we!

We have been coming to this bakery for over 10 yrs., they have the best cupcakes, my granddaughters & l love. Try the hostess cupcakes it's our favorite. P.S. Recommend Tuesdays!!We come from Algonac, we were 5-minutes away. Enjoy

Stopped in for a cake for my daughter 33rd Bday. White cake w/raspberry filling. It was amazing! It was beautiful, moist, and the frosting was delicious. I will absolutely visit more often. Worth every penny!

Awesome little bakery - wide variety of cupcakes. Usually go to Christine's but decided to try something different - was not disappointed! Service was great and everyone enjoyed the cake and cupcakes

I've been a fan for a while and finally ordered my first cake. There was a small error in the image on the cake but they were extremely apologetic and quickly fixed it! My daughter loved the cake and it was a huge hit with the family! It was super light and not too overly sweet and everyone raved over the buttercream.(Picture description: Ghost Spider image on top. Buttercream frosting. One layer chocolate, chocolate mousse filling, next layer white cake. )Next time I need a cake, they are my go to!
