I almost took one star off because we had a 5pm reservation and they seated us right at the door. We FROZE!! Then the delicious food and drinks took over to warm us up. We had fried cheese appetizer. Very good, with that Pepper Jack kick!I ordered a martini. Very nicely done!!My entree was the gumbo. It was enough for 2 meals! So tasty!! Had to take leftovers in a cardboard to go containers. They may want to rethink that.I highly recommend the gumbo!!

Great new gem!I met some friends here while I was in town based on their suggestion. They had mentioned it was quite new.This small establishment has a big personality with an outstanding staff. The menu wasn't too large but just right. Unfortunately I do not recall what I had for my main course, but I do remember that I had their homemade meatballs as a starter. These were fantastic!The decor is cool. Musically themed and has a really solid cool factor to it. Not too dark and not too light. Overall, just right.Would I go back? Whether for a few drinks, appetizers or dinner, I would easily come back. Knowing that this is a new establishment, I hope they do well. This is just the type of bar/restaurant that would serve a neighborhood quite well. Good food, good staff and a perfect recipe for good times. Check it out!

Ok so wow, I have a favorite place in Plymouth now. I can't tell you enough how much I'm in love with this place. Is the wall of vinyl just waiting to be plucked and played? I don't know. Is it the wide selection drink menu items, everything from dad beers to high end cocktails? I don't know. Is it the retro vibe and the amazing staff who makes you feel welcome and takes great care of you? I don't know. Is it the cool, retro vibe and tucked away location? I don't know.I have to say, it was just a great experience from beginning to end and I can NOT wait to come back here again. It is worth the long miles and from home to visit regularly.

New bar and restaurant alert in old town Plymouth! Cool vibes. For you music junkies, they have Macintosh equipment (more for decoration than actual use) but love it! The music is great! There is a DJ in the corner but I think it's a playlist not a live DJ. Love the vibe and the playlist. The music is so great. My husband and I started off with an aperol spritz and old fashion. It was pretty loud inside but we were able to hear each other. It was loud enough that we couldn't hear our neighbors which was great since they were next to us. For dinner, we ordered a perch basket and clam strip basket. You have the option of shoe string fries or better made chips. The basket comes with coleslaw too. The perch was pan friend and the clam strips were fried. Both were great! We both got the shoe string fries with our basket. Both dinner, we hung out for a bit and enjoyed the music and the vibes of the bar.

New place and had heard mixed reviews so we wanted to try it ourselves. It is a fairly open space, a bar, a few high top tables and some booths. It is loud, and no it's not because we're old. We were seated at a two top. Our server asked if we had been there before, we told him no. He explained the menu and took our drink order. One water and a glass of wine. We ordered the whipped feta dip, with honey and pita. That was tasty. We then placed an order for the wings And the burger. We asked about the side of coleslaw with the wings. We were told no the wings do not come with it. So we ordered a side of coleslaw. As far as the burger goes they do not offer Swiss or American cheese. The burger was tasteless, no seasoning, not even salt. An attempt was made to toast the bun but failed. There was very little sauce on the bun, I asked for more. The wings were flavorful , but the amount of sauce was not sufficient, we had to ask for more of that. And yes the wings do come with a side of coleslaw. Overall, I would not come back for the food. The burger was $18 and comes with a small portion of shoestring fries. And to call the coleslaw a side , that is being generous. It's a ketchup cup. We got the bill and they still charged us for the coleslaw which we did not eat. It's only a $1 but really? Your guy doesn't know the menu so we get charged? We did not bring it to their attention, again $1 but do better. Overall disappointing. Cannot recommend for the food.

This place has a really cool atmosphere! I was excited to try a drink but actually ended up loving the food as well. The mussels were so tasty, the sauce was to die for!!! Chicken strips and wings were okay, but I loved the thin shoestring fries. Our waiter knew a lot about the menu and answered all of our questions!!! It was a great experience and am excited to try again. I would recommend making a reservation :)

Nice atmosphere. No beer on tap was disappointing. Limited menu, with less than ideal food. Fish and Chips came with two small pieces of fish, fries and coleslaw,$20. Smash burger was good,came with coleslaw and a bag of Better made chips,tacky, $18. Not sure I will be returning.

Love this place. Everyone i have taken there wants to go back.Good food, great vibe,fun music. Creative drinks. Friendly people. Wish i lived down the street so i could hang out there

Service is very good. Food good. Nice vibe with the vinyl playing DJ. Over 4K albums and nightly music genre.

The was my first time to Red Ryder and I have to say, it was great! We made a reservation and I am glad we did as this place was pretty busy. It has a fun atmosphere, the service was amazing, food was great and our cocktails were delicious. Love that it's in old villageMy groups only suggestion was to add a few more craft beers to the menu. We will definitely be back and share our great experience with other friends too!
