As always this remains my favorite coffee place, with a number of good eats for brunch. My personal favorite is Ful Mudamas with pita bread and olive oil. Great conversation with the staff.

A cute Yemeni coffee shop located on a corner off of Jackson on the west side of Ann Arbor. They offer some delicious Yemeni pastries, like honeycomb bread, which is my favorite, and delicious Yemeni tea, which is my personal preference over coffee. The interior space of 19 Drips is pretty large, so it can hold a lot of different parties and is a great place for coworking. There is wifi available to all paying customers, so my friend and I worked from here for an hour or two without any issues except for one point where the internet cut out for a couple minutes, which wasn't a big deal. The bathroom area is a bit of a contrast to how open and clean the cafe space is. They are dark and feel a bit jarring in how much dirtier they are compared to the open areas. Ultimately wasn't anything too terrible that I couldn't use the bathroom, but it was a big enough difference for me to make a note of it.All in all, a great option for working from a coffee shop and just trying out a more unique coffee shop than your standard run-of-the-mill ones that you can find all over Ann Arbor. Plus, this has the added benefit of being further from campus, so the crowd here is a lot less on the student-front and more locals/young working adults. It was a good vibe!

The workers were friendly and answered my questions about various items on the menu. The iced matcha with was a solid 4.5/5 and one of the best I've had in Ann Arbor. It was fairly strong and the perfect amount of sweet. My sister got a chocolate chip cookie and said it was great. The cafe had a lot of seating inside as well.

Nice option for Yemeni coffee, tea, pastries, and food items (including full meals!) on the West Side! Super conveniently located right off 94. 5 star staff - everyone I interacted with there was super nice. I wasn't sure what to get (also had a little difficulty reading the small text on the screen menu - a menu on the checkout counter could be helpful!) so I asked for a recommendation that was decaf. They told me they could make all their coffee drinks decaf! Forgot to ask if they had non-dairy milk options, as that's usually my preference - that's on me. They have free WiFi and outlets, which made this cafe nice for a couple hours of work this afternoon. (WiFi did cut out briefly, but came back quickly.) It's not large, but never was more full than capacity. There was a mix of people there on their laptops and just chatting and catching up with friends over food and beverages. Self serve water station as well, which was nice. Easy parking on site. I was too full today to try food while I was there, but want to come back to try their pastries! Particularly the honeycomb bread :).

This is a cute little coffee shop with tasty food. Their chicken especially is well seasoned. Their coffee is high quality and they spend time making it correctly. The staff are kind and helpful. Great spot to get work done and there's free onsite parking.

I popped in here briefly to grab a snack to go. My husband and I had just finished lunch and I wanted something sweet to top myself off. Other reviews had mentioned gluten-free options, so I was eager to check the place out. The w ployer helping me was knowledgeable about their gluten-free selection, and I ended up choosing a cherry oat bar. It was delicious and filling! I'll look forward to returning soon for a longer visit and to try something new!

Came here for lunch and am not a big coffee person so I can only speak for the food.We were excited to try Yemeni food, some dishes for the first time. The staff at the counter insisted on hummus and I'm glad they did because it is incredible. We also got labneh, also good, tastes like a cream cheese spread (it's yogurt!). The generous olive oil on both dips definitely makes them very enjoyable. The mutabbaq was thin and crispy, and fresh lime definitely improved the flavor. We were a bit confused by the shakshuka because it was basically an egg scramble and not a tomatoey stew kind of thing like we expected. We enjoyed it, though. This amount of food (it was a lot of pita) left two of us very full.Looking forward to coming again for drinks and trying some of their rice bowls or other dishes!

This 19 Drips location is a really great addition to the west side community. I've tried a few things on their food menu - and nothing I've had has blown my mind EXCEPT the pictured honeycomb bread. They warm it and top it with honey - it's divine. Their chai is good, though not my favorite in town since I prefer a pretty spicy chai. But it's not too sweet and is at least my favorite chai on this side of town! Service is always friendly and their space is great (though it's popular and often pretty packed).

This is the second location of 19 Drips which replaced Songbird Cafe. My coffee snob friend likes coming here to get work done and drink good coffee. I really liked that the menu had a lot of snobby black coffee options like Chemex, Aeropress, Clever Dripper, etc. Next time, I'll have to try these out, but this time, I went with the mocha with oat milk. For 12 oz, it was $5.72 after tax which isn't too bad. It is 80 cents up charge for a milk alternative. I found that the mocha wasn't too sweet which was nice. I could tell this wasn't just hot chocolate (could taste the espresso). Overall, it was very pleasant. My friend and I had a good time catching up here and drinking the mocha. They also have a bunch of breakfast/brunch food options here that I'd like to try next time. Great new spot in Ann Arbor, but sad to see Songbird go.

Their new location is a huge improvement!!! (And trust me I liked their old location! It was so cozy!)Their new location is in the old west side Songbird Cafe. This place has way more seating and parking. It also seems like they expanded their menu since the last time I visited. Can't wait to try it! Also a water jug looks like was added to if you're thirsty!Overall great vibes and happy to be here. Like always, their atmosphere is 100% on point. So relaxing and happy that I DONT want to put in headphones. The perfect coffee shop vibe with awesome jazz music. My only comment is that their menu above the cash register is a bit hard to read with the small font. But for someone who's incredibly nearsighted I appreciated the handheld menu available at the register. Great improvement 19 Drips! Happy to support your business!
